  1. Well, PZ, OH I mean Bigdaddy, I know you don't like coach Jessie because he wouldn't let you run the show there. So, as you all know, Bigdaddy son couldn't beat our QB out so he left mad at the coach & UC. Everyone knows they were extremely young these last two years. Yes, they lost two heart breakers to West Greene, 1 to Powell Valley, 2 to Pigeon Forge(Counting Friday's), 1 to Rutledge(ot), and if we win those games your not on here bashing our team & coaches, well as least not our team. So, keep bashing us, but now everyone knows who you are, and everyone knows the truth! Of course, we're not the first place you've left mad and transfered.
  2. Big Daddy, Lisa Wallace did do a good job, but the football team raised alot of that money. The weightroom was purchased by the football team. The feildhouse is not done, but our new athletic director will finish it! By the way, Harriman is a AA team and everyone plays different classifications. Coach Jessie inherited the schedule we had the past 2 years. The only A school he has ever scheduled was a good Coalfield team! Pigeon Forge scheduled a good A team in Greenback. Other people write bio's. Every coach is proud of their player's and speaks highly of them, because people like you won't. All I'm saying is after years of losing it takes time to turn things around. When your trying to do this you don't go out and schedule Anderson Co., AE, or Fulton. I'm just proud of the whole coaching staff and players from UC. Just like the Harriman players mother wrote on another post, it don't take much to put down a team or coach when their down, but realize they are out there working just like everyone else. I'm trying to be postive, try it once.
  3. Relaxed1, Do you just go around and find the teams that have had bad records and blast them, or is it just UC. You keep calling for our coaches head and your right, you don't know anything about us. So, don't judge a book by its cover. Union Co. has never had any support or money, but coach Jessie has been turning this program around. This is his third year and he has worked on getting kids to play with confidence, pride , and passion. After years of struggles this doesn't happen over night. And try to do all of this with no fieldhouse, weightroom, and equipment that is 20 years old! Now that these things are coming because of Coach Jessie, ask PF how much we've improved. I've never heard one UC fan come on here and say we're a great team. That was other fans just saying we play hard and are alot better. So Relaxed1, go bash some other program, but I'm sure you already are.
  4. I was down at the field tonight and it was really wet. That should help Pigeon Forge some, but UC will try to pound the rock since Bennett is hurt. I heard that he is out for tomorrow night, but the coaches won't tell anyone. Big loss for UC. that might take their best receiver away also. He'll have to play QB. They also have two or three OL out too.
  5. I was totally shocked at the Coalfield/Wartburg game. Is Wartburg that good? Should be a great game between Onieda/Coalfield.
  6. #2 doesn't have speed? It was him that had a 97 yd kick-off return in the Coalfield game. No one caught him. UC has watched PF film and was at the your game friday night and they will be ready. When I pay my ticket friday night, I want you #18 to come up from your safety position and take #2 head on. Enough said!
  7. Well, Bennett looked good in practice tonight. I went to the soccer game at UC tonight and saw him throw a 50 yard rope to Williams for a TD. Looked fine to me. I don't know much, but looks like the beef has been brought up to the starting roles. It look like a spirited practice. #32 of Coalfield looked like an all-state back against us, how'd he look against Wartburg? Of course, we made a lot of Coalfield's kids look good. Ha Ha!
  8. Good point. Austin Lucas and company must step up and run the ball. They have the skills. UC had 5 turnovers, 1 of them as Lucas was going over the goalline, and killer penalty's, 1 cost Lucas a 97 yard kick-off return that would have tied the score at 12 against Coalfield right before half. If UC could hold on to the football, and A.J. Bennett is healthy, UC could pull the upset. Just my opinion.
  9. It's the first region game for both teams and both were beaten in their openers, so who will shake it off and play football? It's not do or die, but one of them will be feeling better after saturday night. Who do you think it will be?
  10. Is Seymour that good, or is Sevier Co. that down?
  11. UC has a new Offensive Cord. and I wish Head Coach would take back over. Coalfield is going to be tough to beat. They can run and pass. UC will be ok.
  12. I thought Rutledge would be the worst place to play QB, they've threw around 3 passes the last 10 years. Bennett has led the conference in passing the last 2 years. He couldn't be in a better place for his type of game. I do agree KevB that UC must be able to run the football to have a chance to go past 10 games. Hobbit87, That's a bold statement.
  13. I'm not sure. I know that Jellico's varsity scored once & their JV scored once. Union County's varsity scored 6 times I think and had another 2 TD's called back.
  14. Jellico has some big kids. Depth is their only problem. Good hitting all night. Hot weather! Union Co. keeps improving, but still make mistakes. They finally threw the ball, as Bennett hit Corey Williams & Lance Chandler for TD passes.
  15. Cool, best of luck for both teams. Both regions will be a blast to watch unfold.
