I am currently the head coach at a large AAA school in East Tennessee. I took over a program that had won a total of four games in the last three years. This year we won eight games and was in many more to the end I am certified to teach PE k-12, Wellness-Health, and Drivers Education. I have coached softball for 11 years and football for 10 years, track and field for 2 years and I am speed strength certified coach. I looking for a school and community that is excited about the game of softball. I live and breath softball and I'm willing to put in the time to build a succesful program. Great team coming back next year but I am looking to get back to the middleTennessee area where my wife and myself are from. I have a daughter that was All State in Arkansas as a freshman in 2002. We are looking for teams to compete in our "First Annual Mountain Classic," fast pitch softball tournament. The tournament will be played at Campbell County High Softball field on Friday and Saturday May 9 and 10. The tournament is limted to 12 teams. We already have 8 teams signed up. In Mississippi the varsity teams play slow pitch in the spring and fast pitch in the fall and the same teams usually win the slow pitch and the fast pitch State Championships. A athlete is a athlete no matter what sport you play.

How many years has been since Moore County has not made it to the playoffs? Is the year the school board in Lynchburg wises up and does something about the coaching problems?

Is Coach Breeden leaving the school system or is he staying on as the softball coach?

Katie Parks at Campbell County, she just moved to Campbell County with her dad and her mother. Her dad is the new head coach at CCHS. She batted over .600 for her freshman year in Arkansas, hit 10 homeruns and made the All North State Team. Her varsity team finished second the last two years in the Mississippi Private School Association which covers four states. She started as a eight grader also.

How do you think the region will go this year, who are the teams and players to watch?
