I am the keeper for Centennial and the first goal was deflected the opposite direction by one of our defenders. I had dove the direction of the ball and one of my defenders instinctively raised his leg misdirecting the ball to the opposite corner. The second goal was a firmly hit header from 6 yds, Kudos to who ever scored that. It was a good shot

Hendersonville didn't impress me tonight. It amazes me that they were undefeated up to this point. Well the game was well played and had an enjoyable result all the same.

It was a very sloppy game. poorly played by Centennial but had an ultimently good result. Antioch was slightly better than expected, although their only attack was long balls over the top which i easily collected. It shocked me that a team like this could be a district champion, but i guess I'm used to being in a division with teams like Franklin and Brentwood.

I have seen and played against both, Brentwood Fusion and TNFC '88. I can say without question TNFC '88 is the supieror team. If presented with an oppurtunty in state, they would wax the floor with the Brentwood Fusion.

Brentwood and Centennial both won in the Region Semi-Finals, they face off for the third time tommorow at 7 pm and Brentwood hs. Should be a good game.

Shelton and Austin are both very talented players, they both play on my club team and our both on the '87 odp team. I was dissapointed to see that they loss to Smyrna, oh well they have 2 more years.

Brian didnt make rookie of the year, im my opinion, because had a plethura of talented players around him. The Cenzig Twins, who split the rookie of the year honors, carried Overton this year and had over 85% of their goals. They had a larger impact on their team than Louder did. Brentwood would most likely be in the same position even without Louder, I do agree that he should have made the District Team, but you might as well have just taken the entire Brentwood Team for that matter.

Brentwoods only weakness is their keeper, Their shot selection isnt that great either but they posses the ball in the opponets half almost the entire game and pound away at the defense. Good Luck McGavock, you will need it.

I have played on the Stadium Pitch and Mike Rose and it well worth the extra drive. For those that suggested moving it to Nashville, what facilities would they use?

Brentwood defeats Centennial 3-1. The game was close, Brentwood scored in stopage time after Centennial pushed everyone forward. All in all a pretty good game. I personal look forward to playing Brentwood in the Region finals, we have to beat the district 12 champion first though. Good Luck to everyone going to Regions

Does anyone know who will be coming out of district 12 to face Centennial and Brentwood? Anyone think they have a chance against Brentwood in the district finals?

I have never said anything about myself, check the boards. Nor did I diss anyone, I was simply stating my opion of another keeper, Im pretty sure everyone is entitled to his or her own opion.

I think it can be more embarrasing to have a team hold the ball for an entire half. I know 18-0 seems to be running up the score, but you cant just stop playing the game. I didnt witness the game, but I find it hard to beleive that Page would intentionaly try to embarrass a team.

I have seen him play for Ravenwood this year 3 times and he played for the division 2 TNFC '88 team. I beleive he plays for the Sting now, i could be wrong. Even suggesting he is the best in state is absurd. It would be a difficult argument to make that he is even the best freshman in the state. His hands are realiable but he rarely comes out for balls and when he does, he lacks physicalness and doesnt seem to cominicate with his teamates. I made the coment of his mental weakness because he could not handle the criticism of his TNFC trainer and thusly left the team. Maybe he will be one of the best when hes a senior but hes no where close now.

Tyler Kahn is not good. He is very lucky that he is in a situation where he gets to play at all. I have seen him play in club and in high school and not only does he lack physical presence he lacks mental toughness and confindence in the net. I don't want to put to the kid down, but hes not close to being the best in Williamson County let alone the state.

I enjoy the opinion poll more. The new poll reminds me too much of college football and the BCS.

It will be a very heated game as always. No matter what each team's records are it's always a close game. I think for both teams this is the most important game of the regular season because it determines who is #2 in the district. I still think both of these teams with have a very difficult time beating Brentwood.

Having played both teams I felt that BGA had a more complete team, but BA had better talent. I thought BGA would win with ease but thats why games are played. I also thought BA was a very physical team and tended to be quite dirty, and I can easily see the game getting out of hand. Im sure BGA and BA will meet again this season, most likely with a lot more on the line.

How much of a scholarship did you get from High Point?

I think the only thing that is a sure bet in Williamson County is that Brentwood is number 1. 2-5 are very difficult to determine. BA beat BGA, BGA beat Centennial, Centennial beat BA, Franklin tied both BA and BGA. As for the bottom rungs I have Page, then Ravenwood and lastly Fairveiw. I dont think the Raptors get enough respect, and I honestly beleive Ravenwood would beat Fairveiw in a head to head match. Too bad they dont play each other, it would be an intersting match-up.

I didnt even have to think about this one. I would much rather win a state tournament with club than high school. Club is much more enjoyable not to mention more worth while. Ask any college coach what he deems more of an ackomplishment, a high school state championship, or winning state cup with club. I promise to you that it will be the state cup with club.
