Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you...The wrestlers who fail the hydration test will be allowed to wrestle their own state tournament over in McClellan. TSSAA will only charge half admission price for this tournament and matmaids will be allowed on the floor. All of these matches will be reffed by Jeff Lester. There will be no concession stand or clock. You wrestle until one guy gives up. The champions will be called Division 3 non-hydrated State Champions. Everybody get your panties out of their wads and wipe the pee off of your leg. I believe we will have the best state tournament ever. I love you guys!

That was the idea for this program in the first place, right. Also, from what I understand, some wrestlers have already been kicked out of the tournament because they wrestled Regions at a weight that was below their minimum.

They can implement whatever they want. If you fail hydration then you are out. It is crazy. My kids are drinking water in class as we speak. Check your fax machine.

I just received a fax from TSSAA that said every wrestler will have to pass a hydration test before weigh-ins each day of the state tournament. Is this crazy or what? I guess this is where they find out who is cheating and who is not. By the way, they are not charging for the test this time.

I was talking to observer99, but rigger101(I believe I met you last year) if either one of you would like to bet some green just let me know. I realize that I would be the underdog, but I am willing to gamble a little. Plus, I like money from East TN. We may even be able to pay for a bus to bring us home if you guys bet enough.

We were going to ride bycicles but we qualified 2 more than expeceted so we are 2 bikes short plus Cubbage was already complaining about having to pedal. Time will tell. Jeff Jordan won the 2000 state title with no feeder system at all. That is what I call great coaching. By the way, we finished 4th that same year with no feeder.

My criteria for coach of the year would be just a LITTLE BIT different. 1. Which team has made the most improvement from one year to the next? ie...Glencliff, Ravenwood. 2. What does the coach have to work with? Is he working with kids whose father and grandfather wrestled or that has 3 older brothers who wrestled or is he working with kids who don't know what a wrestling mat is until they get to 9th or 10th grade. It does not necessarily make you a great coach when you take over a team that has kids moving into the starting line up who have been wrestling since they were in their diapers and you win with them. Heck, Bradley's JV from last year could have probably finished in the top 5 in the state. I'm not saying that Laxton is not a great coach. He obviously is or he would not have been recruited to take over for Logsdon. I am just saying that there is a heck of a lot more than winning chapionships that goes into being a great coach.

Tex, I have no idea what snobhater is doing. He did not make our varsity line up so he quit 3 weeks after Christmas. I sure do like the way you insinuate things. Mark, Do not stop coaching because of something other than you believe it is best for you, your family and team. I go through these same feelings year after year. I really believe that you should take fiscon's advice and wait awhile to make your decision. If you already have someone in mind that you believe can take your team to the next level then hire him on as an assistant. I have known you for 15 years and believe that you do a great job with your kids. You are just frustrated now and need some time to reflect on the great influence you have had in their lives. I hope you believe me when I say I do not know who HERD is, but I would be it is someone from Region 5 who has inside knowledge as to how many you qualified.
