Alex is good, thank you for asking. Rehab going great. Therapist says she's about 3 weeks ahead of schedule, measuring her leg strength and what she can do against their progression chart. Team is 20-3, beat Tn Wesleyan last night by 10. Pretty much got the regular season conference title wrapped up. Getting ready for the conference tournament. Should get a bid to the NCAA DivIII Tournament. Good luck to Kelly where-ever she decides to play.

Anyone know for sure what teams are playing this Saturday at WV? Is it just this 4 and what time does it start? Thank you in advance for the info.

I think they are going to really miss Angie Wells, especially against teams that press. Wells was a one person press breaking machine that led to alot of easy baskets for others. Don't see anyone to do that for them this year. Other than that, they look strong.

I was looking over the 5AAA district standings and saw something crazy that could happen. Cumberland Co. is going to be the #1 seed : Rhea Co. is going to be the #6 seed. Unlikely to happen "BUT" what if: McMinn Co. (4-3) beats Rhea Co, and loses to Bradley and Cumberland Co. Bradley (3-3) beats McMinn Co and Rhea Co, loses to Cleveland and WV Cleveland (2-3) beats Rhea Co(2), beats Bradley, loses to Cumberland Co and WV Walker Valley (2-5) beats Bradley, Cleveland and Rhea Co. All 4 teams end up 5 -5. McMinn Co would hold the head to head over WV but loses it to Cleveland Cleveland would hold the head to head over McMinn Co but loses it to WV WV would hold the head to head over Cleveland but loses it to McMinn Co Bradley would also be 5 -5 How would the seedings 2 - 5 be determined?

You must have been at the Walker Valley / McMinn County game last night where Larry, Curly and Moe were dressed in striped shirts. WV shot 24 FTs all game and McMinn Co shot 26 FTs in the 4th quarter alone. One newspaper reporter there covering the game said afterwards he moved off the baseline taking notes and pictures because he thought the "terrible 3" was going to call a foul on him because he had on a blue shirt. He said he was not listed in the scorebook so WV would probably get a technical.

Walker Valley ended up shooting 24 FTs the whole game. McMinn County shot 26 FTs in the 4th quarter alone, 26 FTs. So think about it, 26 FTs in the 4th quarter alone, in a close game, where there was no intentional fouling by WV until the last minute, wouldn't you sprint out with the refs too? They probably were skipping and holding hands!!!! A reporter who was there covering the game said he moved off the baseline because he was afraid they were going to call a foul on him!!!!! Everyone who was in the gym knows what the deal was, nothing has to be said!!
