Yea i dont really understand how they figure they dominated us. Marco was incredible and he did break loose for some huge yards, but is that really that surprising hes done that all year. If it wasnt for two turnovers in the red zone who knows what would of happened but we did make mistakes and MP didnt. so they where the better team that night, but they did not dominate cascade. MP has a great team and so does JB, this will be a great game.

Well to be honest I saw the fight from the begining and the kid from MP started it. He put our player on his back and then punched in the helmet while laying on top of him. Then the Ref threw the flag, our player got up after the flag was already thrown and went after the kid. The kid from MP deserves the ejection he did something stupid and our kid would miss a game next year and would get what he deserves. So no it doesnt matter who started it your kid should of thought about next weeks game before he threw the punch. And thats funny you say at a minimum like our kid should get more for the same doing the same thing your kid did. quit whining your team won the game congratulations and good luck next week.

congrats to MP, this was a great match up of two evenly great teams. When two great teams play each other, the team that makes the fewest mistakes wins. MP was on top of their game and cascade had two costly turnovers in the red zone that cost them big time. Marco is incredible, what sets him apart from everyone else is he does not let one man take him down. As for the fight, hey its football and when you have two great teams that want to win that will sometimes happen. Cascade players have nothing but respect for MP and fans dont need to make this bigger than it really was both players threw a punch and both got ejected. It doesnt matter who started it. I never said u did call anyone a loser nor am I calling you one. Cascade took it to WHH and the ifs you referred to did not happen and the better team won. Ifs do not exist either something happens or it doesnt. Ifs set the good teams apart from everyone else. Cascade did not need any ifs to win that game and thats why they won. Losing teams need ifs and thats why they lose.

Well congrats to Jo Byrns. They came out and showed they wanted it more. Cascade beat themselves, they drove the ball on them all night and then when they got in or near the red zone they fell apart. The game was closer then the score showed but Jo Byrns was def the more physical team 2night and took it to us. They have a great team and had a lot of class.

I have stated before that I thought Jo Byrns was living in the past thinking they were unbeatable. It did not surprise me they got beat. They were faced with a close game, something they hadnt had in a while, and could not handle it. Now let see how they respond coming off a loss. First off you want to talk about classless, what kind of christian school are you? Your players using the N word to our players and I saw a lot of cheap shot by your players. And no the weight room was not trashed we picked up all our trash even though there was no trash can in the place, we took are trash with us. Their was no mirror broken, quit trying to make things up because yall go smashed by a better and more physical team.

I know this game is gonna be a much closer game than all the Jbs fans think it will be. From what i have seen WH has a solid team and will be the toughest opponent Jbs has faced this year. Jbs is another solid team but I think they are living in the past too much and think they are unbeatable bc of how they have run throught the region the last couple of years. They look like they come out the gates slow and have lapses in their d early in games. If this happen against WH they could face a situation they have not had to deal with in a few years and would be interesting to see how they respond to this. To Jbs credit they have come out and made up for their slow starts in the second half in big ways. I say Jbs wins in a tight one 21-14. But it would not surprise me if WH wins this one.

Your right you do have weapons and no cascade is not overlooking you. Some cascade fans might be overlooking you but i gurantee theat cascade players and coaches are preparing for you like they would any other team they play. This game is the most important game because its the next game on the schedule and will be prepared for that way. Your weapons is yalls problem. You rely only on yalls weapons to win games and become one dimensional. From what i have seen yall live and die by the big play. Once the big play is eliminated you can not drive the field. I also think yall are a little more scarier on offense then on defense. Defensively you will have a hard time stoping cascade's offense.

Eagleville is a very athletic team and live and die by the big play. If we play smart and play our responsibilities than Cascade wins huge. If we get out of position and play a little sloppy this game will be a little closer than expected. Either way i say cascade wins.

The 62 yard field goal he hit was in practice. It was a beautiful kick and even had about 4 yards to spare.

Congrats to east lit you guys came ready to play and out hustled us on all ends of the floor. With the exception of a couple of players, Carkuf and Reed, we looked scared to play these guys. The officiating was a little questionable but only halfway through to 4th period when the game was already over. Other than that though it was a good called game, so I dont know what cascade11 is talking about. The biggest thing that hurt us is that we ran a zone all the way into the 4th quarter with East lit shooting lights out. We should have switched out of the zone at the half cause obviously it wasnt working at all. They were shooting uncontested shots all night. On the other hand when we were getting open looks we weren't taking them, except Carkuf and Reed.

Congrats to forrest and Eagleville. Big wins for those guys.Eagleville is playing their best ball at the right time and they are loose and dangerous. Kind of a shame Forrest and Eagleville play each other next. East Lit handled Cascade with their man to man D. Good atheletes limited wing player shots. Reed had a pretty good game. When you can play straight man and stop Hall, Cascade is in trouble. Cascade had a successful season overall, but can't seem to match up in this type of game.Sorry to see my VB boys go down, but NCS is excellent at their game. I don't know how to explain the name; I didn't pick it and I have no idea what it means. I inherited it. Even though I am a Bedford Co redneck, I am a fan of Forrest basketball (Forrest football is a whole different deal LOL). I try to be a fan of all these kids that give it all they got in sports. Its easy to always be critical, and most of the atheletes are trying their hardest. Treyvols asked about last East Lit game. EL played a 2-2-1 zone (not a 1-2-2).They play it all the way out at half court some time, and pack it down to the top of circle others. Its unusual and it gave Cascade fits. Champs never got any comfort level against it. Also, Cascade was not a good rebounding team and these cats are. They are not real talented on offense; they will drive into the lane and throw up something and then crash hard. Put backs will be the difference in this game. Cascade will probable do better against their D with time to prepare and tape to watch. We'll have to see if Cascade can rebound better. East Lit games are usually low scoring- teams have trouble scoring against this D and EL has trouble scoring against a team that will play some D.

Unfortunately, I remember the East Lit game well. That week we played EL, Nash C, and VB all in one week and lost em all. That was the low point of the season and had a lot of people wondering about this team. Since the second half of that VB loss, our team has turned around. Everyone now has the green light to shoot if open and the confidence shows. Confidence will be a big issue on Sat. EL is athletic and jumps around on defense better than anybody in our district. They are extremely talented on offense as far as shooting goes. They use dribble penetration to break you down and rely on off. rebounds for alot of scoring. Wish I could go watch VB-NCS game. That will be a dandy. I hope VB wins, but NCS is good at their game and their coach is a sharp old bird. I thick Forrest will take care of business. Eagleville will surprise WHH at the start of that game cause they are good at playing like they have nothing to loose. However, foul trouble will get em again and WHH will win.

Fat Man you should have hitched a ride down off the mountain. Cascade won championship, VB won third. Shankle was season MVP and Hall(Cascade) won tourney MVP. I agree with both of these picks. Shankle played tough tonight but had too big of hill to climb. Cascade threw 4 different d's at Forrest all of whick are geared at making Cory work hard and try to keep him off balance and frustrated. That statement alone is quite a compliment. Fatman, VB had 4 kids on all tourney team. VB plays in West Nashville on Sat- start lokking for a ride. Congrats to the Shankman for MVP.
