No doubt, The single A championship game was played last week

This game is a sign of just how bad single A football was in west TN this year!

I was at the Mckenzie game lastnight... All Mt. Pleasant had was there QB and that was enough for the Rebs... If South Pittsburg has anyone that can make plays like he did then they should win... But if Mckenize's defence shows up then who knows what will happen.... Im takin South Pit. in this one they play a very good hampton team lastnight and came out with a big win in that one.... Good luck to both teams

Yes he is back, Weathers prolly could have played last week but that coachs didn't want to take any chances with his head injury. Doc. said it would be best if he set out 1 week.

This should be a pretty decent game between two mediocre teams..both teams will fall to huntingdon this year so the winner might as well go ahead an do all their celebrating after this game..

Mckenzie by atleast 21.. Bruceton looked terrible in the jamboree in Huntingdon and unless they had a miracle happen i dont see it any better this week

I agree with you 100% Huntingdon is back. They got up at 6:15 in the morning every day this summer to work out. Whoever watched that game last Friday can tell that Malin was just walking around and Huntingdon was up jumping around ready for the next play.

What yalls thoughts about this game?

Im not trying to disrespect Huntingdon because I am from there, but i have to say if Huntingdon dont win this year they will be in trouble for awhile unless we get dropped to 1a. Huntingdon will lose over 20 seniors after this season so if we plan to make some noise it needs to be this year. As far as this week goes i really have no idea what to expect this weekend. I know we are doing a lot of things that weve never done before (shotgun) and i just hope that it works out for the best. I know we have a really big offensive line and hopefully they will make some holes for weathers and macadams to run through. I am still predicting Huntingdon to win by 2 tds.

From what i have been hearing Milan are going to have a few players out this weekend, esp. on the offense line which may cause a lot of problems for them. I believe if Huntingdon can take care of the football they will win the game which would be a really big confident booster for a team that didnt make the playoffs last year. My prediction is Huntingdon 27 Milan 14.

How can it be a good thing when you play your best game you have played all year and you still lose to another single a team, unless you dont expect to be that good or something. I mean I could understand if you were at Clarksburg or West Carroll and you held Huntingdon to 4 runs and only lost by 1,but you are the defending state champion.

They are regular season champs but that really does not mean much...

It can never be good when the best game you have played all year came in a loss...
