Huntingdon has had 6 shut outs in a roll... That is pretty impressive!

Everybody needs to go to the Jackson Suns web site and the read articles they have done this week about Patrick Willis. They are about his life story and are really amazing.

I know the answer but I don't want to spoil it for everybody. He will announce on tv in a couple of weeks, but he has already made up his mind....

That just shows how much those rankings about the top 100 recruits means. There is really no way to tell until they become juniors and seniors in college to know what their all about. Patrick was the best high school player i had ever played against or seen play and i am very proud for him. I cant wait to see him play next year and i would love to see him with the titans.

I picked Aloca atleast 21 so i guess i was pretty close. I never expected Goodpasture to only score 3 though, that was pretty amazing.

so what do i get when i win this thing? Alcoa is going to lock it up for me tonight.

Even if Alcoa is not as good as they were last year they will still win the game by atleast 21. They just have to many athletes and to much speed for Goodpasture to contain. Goodpasture might be better than last years team but they arent 40 points better, and I dont expect the score to be as bad as last year but i still dont think Goodpasture can score enough to stay with Alcoa.

It will just depend on how the align the brackets but there is a pretty good chance of it.

It will be pretty much the same, but the loss of Cedric Harris and Sellers will hurt us at the d tackles. Cedric might have been the player of the year on this years team.

If the best player in the state is a freshman there is no way he would win the award. So when they get to be a junior and senior everybody knows their name and no matter if they have their best year or maybe the worst they have had since they were in high school it is very likely that they will win the award. Name and popularity is everything in these awards everybody knows he is a top 25 player in the country and gave him the award. That is just the way it works.

what channel is the 1 in jackson..anybody know?

Chris might not have deserved the award for his performance this year because of his hurt hamstring but we all know the award is not based on what you do in 1 year. Chris had a great career and im pretty sure the award was given to him for that reason and the fact that he has made such a name for hisself.

The team should be in good shape next year. The offensive and defensive lines should be really strong with a lot of people playing that played last year. I know of at least 6 that will be back along with parham who tore his acl last year week 1. Quarterback should be strong with Cole McAdams holding it down. From what I have seen so far he has a very strong arm and can do a lot with the ball in his hands. I dont know about the recievers though. Might be a weak point but we will just have to see how that works out. Running back will probably be played by about 3 or 4 different players with Weathers, Hampton, and Taylor. The fullback will be pretty good but Huntingdon has always had good full backs as long as i can remember. As far as the defense goes the linebackers will probably be undersized but really fast and will be able to run to the ball. Only 1 starter returns here so i expect to see some new faces and maybe a lot of people working in and out. The Db's need to be better next year. I dont know if they will let McAdams play both ways but they may not have a choice. Should be an interesting year and i look foward to next year.

Aloca 42-21. In my opinion Alcoa has way to many athletes for Goodpasture to be able to control. I expected Goodpasture to run all over Milan but they never really did. All they could do was hit a big play and that wont happen against Alcoa. Alcoa has already faced a 2 or 3 teams as good or better than Goodpasture and that will help them a lot this week. I just believe they have too many athletes and to much speed for Goodpasture to stay close.

Im hoping Milan can pull off a big upset this week but it is going to take a lot of work on their offense to it. Goodpasture has a very smart defense and everybody plays their assignments so Milan needs to find something this week in the film room and try to attack it. Milan has really been struggling on offense lately and if they happens this week they will be in trouble. I know Coach Morris is a good coach and always has some tricks up his sleeve and it time to pull them all out.

Ok so what your saying is that when Oklahoma and Oregon played that Oregon wanted it more just because they won? That is crazy. The officals were obviously against Oklahoma that game when they called a pass interference on a tipped pass and when Oklahoma recovered an onside kick and they game the ball to oregon. I dont like Oklahoma but it was very obvious that game and it sounds like it was pretty obvious at this game as well.

All i am saying is if this team would have had drew hayes they would have been just as good or better than they were. Carr was good this year but he didnt do anything that Drew couldnt do. The only thing that was different from this years team and last years is that it was a year older, and like you said yourself the defense was ten times better than it was in 2005. And as far as running out of gas, i dont think it was that at all. Yall hadnt played a "real" football game in a month and when it was time to turn it on again it was to late. ...

And im pretty sure somewhere in this thread along time ago i told you not to be looking past all these other teams because it was way to early to be thinking about a state championship. You all thought you were better because drew hayes was gone and that you were going all the way, but this team wasnt any better than last years team on the offensive side of the ball..........

The weather may have a big effect on this game. I think the rain hurts Trenton a lot more than it does milan and if it does rain i expect Milan to control the game and espically the line of scrimmage.
