  1. The easiest way to give directions to Moore County from Dunlap would be to take 1-24 all the way down to Manchester get off on exit 110 (left) take that road all the way to Tullahoma (10 miles) you will go over a bridge..turn right at the stop light when you get at the bottom of the bridge. Stay on this road until you see Wilson Avenue (1 mile) turn left (it is beside a big grave yard) stay on Wilson Avenue the rest of the way do not turn. Moore County High is on the left about 12 miles from here just before you hit Lynchburg. You can see the stadium from the road. Have any idea what time & direction of travel the Indians will take Friday? No need to worry about the 127 yard sale except for getting the kids to the school. The route will be I-24. Try to be careful next weekend. From where I live I was thinking through McMinnville or down the Pellam Valley to Winchester. Also you haven't seen who we play in the Jamboree have you? [Edited by Sequatchie on 8-10-02 10:47P]
  2. Thanks for the reply...I am somewhat familiar with the wing-t... Your information will be useful. Good luck next Friday.
  3. Can you tell me anything about their offense? What do they run? also what kinf of defensive front do they run?

    White County

You can count on White County having a few trick plays. This is typical of coach Dickey Brown, but I really cant remember the last time White County actually had a good season, so dont expect to much for the next couple of years anyways.
  6. This is to putuporshutup: I understand that you play for York. If this is true tell me how you feel about Whitwell offensively and defensively. Whitwell usually has good sized players. Is this true this year? Were there any plays that Whitwell ran offensively that consistently gained yardage? What kind of D front did they line up in? Please respond back.
  7. The best way to come is down I-24 but I heard they were repaving the road and it will be one lane for about 7 miles. On the trip back 24 is definetly the best route. They are through repaving that side and there shouldnt be any hold ups The Red Riaders run a split back veer and spread shot gun formation. Watch for RB #1, QB #6, DT #2, and LB #9. Also expect a fairly good sized crowd for a scrimmage on the road I would say somewhere around 50 people or so. [Edited by redraider68 on 8-5-02 9:34P] One other thing how many players do the Red Raiders have? By the way which way are you coming to Dunlap, through McMinnville? The Stadium is at the school I don't remember how long its been since Seq. played Coffee if any. If you need directions I will try to help! Have a safe trip down/over. [Edited by Sequatchie on 8-9-02 12:19A] We were planning on going on I 24 but because of the construction we may be taking the route through McMinville I am not sure. I think we will be ok, and I look forward to a great scrimmage.
  8. Whitwell plays a soft schedule thats how they got the wins last year. They cant beat South Pitt. They cant beat Marion Co. They cant beat Sequatchie (35-0) ha. Whitwell will win against all the softies again this year, but they still wont be able to hang with the big boys. Oh yeah Bubba Austin has to be the most overrated player i have ever seen. Did somebody forget to teach him how to block on offense? He looked terrible in the all star game.
  9. I am familiar with the facilities in Coffee County. I know most of the attention there goes to the girls athletics (basketball & softball) but I can understand why. Sequatchie County has a practice field much like Coffee County (bermuda grass) but Sequatchie has two goal posts on their practice field instead of just one like CC and a nicer home stadium than Coffee County...and yes I know Coffee County has a pretty nice home field (fairly new). Sequatchie has nice facilities for a 2a school but Sequatchie also has a nice tradition too. The football program in CC always seems to be an afterthought for the administrators in Manchester, but I wish them the best and I hope ya'll get things turned around over there. Clark and Green should have a big part in that. Good Luck.
