This guy is the most incredible technician and coach ever to sit at matside or in the practice room in the history of Tennessee. Move over Gordon Connell, Jim Morgan, Schaack Van Deusen, Pat Simpson, Ralph Gabriel, Steve Logsdon, Steve Henry, Al Miller, Frank Simpson, GP West, Jeff Jordan, Tony Bradley, Walt Holmes, Steve Brimmer, Jeff Price and the great, untouchable and indisputable greatest of all time, Johnny Masters.

No big secret on you guys knocking out Houston last night. Anyone with a pulse on TN wrestling knows they lost quite a few starters. How about this, Bartlett 2006 state champs. Watch out Bradley Central.

Aw, how sweet a thought for your region. Probably because there are no Panther wrestlers worth cheering for after their first round losses. Do you honestly think that any Pantherboys are going to win matches this year? You might as well have something to do. With a better draw the Panthers could have been a top 50 team this year. Doty would be proud.

Irishdad, The one guy who couldn't get down on the mat to look for a pin had "bowel problems". The other ref you are talking about injured his neck and jaw the night before and could not focus on the mat in front of him due to too much pain. If he did not exercise his jaw muscles during the match it would have locked up on him. These are not excuses. Just proud of how the beloved refs did this past weekend with such tough critics in the gym.

What ND really needs is their assistant coach to wear green pants, a green tie and a green jacket. Ask Lennon or Voiles if they will do it.

I would put top 3 against top 3 and it would very competitive. There is no way in hades that 4-6 in DII can consistently compete with 4-6 in DI. There are guys every year in DII that place at state that might not make it out of regionals in DI.

Not rainbow of muscles, rainbow of muscle shirts. He always wore black workout pants, a fanny pack hanging in the front and a blue, red or other assorted color muscle shirt. It was about as tacky a coach's uniform I have ever seen. The only one worse than that is the Union County coach walking around in overalls with a plaid shirt.

No beef in particular. They always come on here and complain about their situation. And no, I have never lost to a Smyrna wrestler. We have never lost a dual to Smyrna.

No not all. I don't hear anyone else from that region complaining on the message board about how unfair their situation is.

They will whine and cry about how there region is too big to qualify all of their halfway decent wrestlers. They will fall agonizingly short of their own unrealistic expectations. They will be no where to be found at the toughest tournaments in the state, Father Ryan, McCallie, and Bradley. They will get on this message board and pi$$ and moan about how the world is against them. They will pi$$ and moan about how they never pi$$ and moan and will vow to never post anything again then post the next day.

Fewer kids shower than in the past. Fewer teams require it than in the past.

Arbitrary? I say we do away with all weight classes and use the honor system. Whatever is best for the kids. God forbid they have to make weight.

I've heard the CBHS coach talk about this team or that team and how he could "beat them with his JV." Looks like he couldn't this time.

Wow coach. What medications are your guys taking. I got to get me some of that. The whole team wrestled Thursday, half of the lineup was out with the flu on Friday so you passed on Ryan, then on Tuesday the whole lineup is healthy and didn't miss a beat beating a good Brentwood team. Sounds like there is more going on than you would like to admit. Do you care to comment or leave us wondering?
