Gallatin has been in 5A alot longer than beech. But they are 4-8 in the playoffs in 5A. Lets recap..... 1993 1st round lost to Oak Ridge 14-7 1994 1st round lost to Brainerd 42-40 1995 1st round lost to Red Bank 36-6 1996 1st round win over Red Bank 10-3 2nd round lost to Oak Ridge 28-7 1997 1st round win over Glencliff 21-20 2nd round lost to Mt Juliet 20-3 1998 1st round lost to Dickson Co 20-7 1999 1st round lost to McMinn Co 31-7 2000 Didnt make playoffs 2001 your best year in 5A playoffs 1st round win over Clarksville 2nd round win over Brentwood 3rd lost to Hendersonville BUT....the one thing i will give gallatin credit is that they've made the playoffs every single year since 1976, except for 81, and 2000 For Beech, they have been in 5A for 3 yrs, this being the forth and they are 1-3. But im sure once we have been in 5A as long as gallatin, our 5A playoff history wont look as bad as gallatins.

yatta yatta yatta!!! all we herd on here all week was how beech cant even compete with gallatin, that the wave will dominate beech. Last time I checked 24-23 was a good game, not a domination. Phishead you said beech's defense really isnt that great and that they didnt stop gallatin one time. Well how bout that all mighty big bad wave machine defense. They couldnt stop beech. Sense you also were the first one to start throwing out stats on another beech/gallatin board, heres some stats for you... beech had around 280 something total yards. gallatin had about 260 something. Beech scored 23 points on gallatin(most all year). And if im correct, it was you who said " hope beech has fun trying to put a drive together". Well from the looks of it, they might not of won, but they put some drives together. Also what about the great punter link you said would pin beech back deep everytime. Nope, that didnt happen either. Gallatin punted twice and beech once if im correct. He punted for 31 yard avg, and beech for 43. Another thing, DID YOU STOP MEADOWS????? UMMM NO!!, maybe on one play, the biggest play of the game. But like i posted earlier, hes unstoppable. Yes we do have other players to go to if he was to get hurt, so dont say our offense would struggle if we didnt have him. We have several other guys we can go to. Meadows is just the ring leader. You say beech wont beat brentwood?. Well I got news for ya, WE WILL! and if yall are lucky enouhg to make it through centenial and franklin, the I know that we WILL see you again in round 3, and the outcome will be diffrent than it was this past friday night.

Wait untill beech beats gallatin, and then plays dickson again in the playoffs. It will be a tottally diffrent story. Besides it was the first game of the season for beech, and dickson's 2nd game. Most teams greatest improvment in a season comes between week 1 and week 2, so dickson had alittle bit of an advantage. But just wait till they play in the playoffs.

ok, well gallatin might be bigger stronger, what else you can think of, but beech is gonna win the game. Wether its 3 to zero or whatever, beech will win this ballgame somehow someway. Ok say we dont have meadows, we still got john michael carver whos got over 400 yards rushing and 4 td's, craig foster whos over 500 yards passing with a couple of td's and 8 rushing touchdowns, Jeremy Leftwich whos also doing well at receiver with a few td's, as for his punting which is outstanding, Josh Stringfellow whos the best kicker around and great free saftey(2nd in county in tackles), andre smith(1st in tackles in the county, 4 in the state). Beech does have several weapons, A whole lot more than Gallatin. Meadows is just the ring leader out this bunch, so you wake up and smell the coffee! [Edited by Bucs on 10-28-02 1:18A]

Ok so thats why hes the best player in the county....Leading the county in just about every statisitic except for rushing whichs hes 3rd, passing which hes not a qb but yet thrown 3 td's this season, tackling, but yet leads county in INT's, and punting, which hes not a punter, but beechs punter does lead the county in punting. however he does lead the county in....... Scoring 82 total points(the closest player yall have to him in scoring has half the points meadows does) 8 rushing td's 2 recieving and 3 punt returns Recieving 342 yards and 20 receptions Punt returns 17 for over 400 yards and 3 tds 22 yard avg Kickoff returns 15 over 400 yards hasnt got a td on that yet but im sure will and interceptions i already mentioned. Phishhed tell yourself this, Meadows is the best player in this county and no one not even gallatin will stop him. hunters lane might of slowed him down, but yet he still scored and wether or not the game was close ask anyone you want and a W is a W [Edited by Bucs on 10-27-02 11:10P]

Have fun trying to put a drive together huh??..lol, It will be fun watching beech put one together and go up and down the field all night. And NO ONE will be able to shut meadows up. Hes GOOD!! As for link being healthy and punting well, yea Gallatin will punt alot, but Beechs punter is better than link, hes the best in the county. Beech also has the best special teams in county, if not the best in the state. But like i said, Meadows will not get stopped, dont you think teams have tried to stop him so far, and have they??? NOPE they havent. I say beech wins 27 - 7

Who will it be?? Ive read in other post and everyone thinks gallatin, but lets be real honest. Its about time the bucs do get some respect. So who will be your pick in this (Should be CSS game of the week).

The secondary is NOT horrible. I dont know where that rumor got started, but its abunch of crap. Like ftball111 said, our db's doing extremely well in gettin interceptions and tackling also. Big freaken woop, we had a couple of games where we didnt play are full potential and got in alittle funk, but thats definitly over with. You will see some hardcore beech football friday night and hopefully our team will startin gettin the respect we deserve.

Dont forget Meadows also has over 294 yards in punts returns and 2 td's and 356 yards in kickoff returns. That gives him 1352 total yards and 10 td's. Also to mention his 4 int's on defense. Hes also thrown for over 50 yards and 2 td passes. [Edited by Bucs on 10-16-02 9:52P]
