Ya wonder why your called sisses and first thing you say when someone ask about your allstar playing badly is "oh he was playing hurt" how convenient is that.you have a good football team up there and as far as poor sports I personally dont know it was mainly a question. but i dont see any reason for a Smith Co. fan that is nuetral to say false statements like that. Smith has worse rivalry with TC than could ever be with MC so if we were takin sides it would have to be with you.and i dont know anything about calling sissies or wimps,personally. MF

ya know what tickles me is that Macon has ONE good season and they have everyone in the county on the internet talking about it.LOSING has come like a custom up there they dont know what to think when they win. It will play out and Macon will get 1 and Smith get 2 just keep everyone healthy for the woopin your gonna get in the playoffs. excuses no excuses we lost but the facts are facts, i have a brother that plays for Smith Co. and know all the players personally so i do know what im talkin about. our players didnt even want to dress out for the week 7 or 8 said it was to boring they were just gonna stand on the sideline half the game anyways. so we do have a problem with motivation and being focused but when it comes time you will see the OWLS flying high. now our players arent talkin trash or makin excuses just waiting for our next meeting.now you can make all your smart comments cause i know there a 100 MC fans bout to. Do we even need to talk about this game? especially after Cannon Co. beat Jackson Co. Smith Co. 45 - 7 and thats cause our starters will only play through 2 1/2 quaters if there lucky GO BIG OWLS MF

1buck2, Macon did not stop Smith Co. we stoped ourselves with running up the middle all night in the redzone. Smith Co. defense only gave up 14 and 7 was an interception that was returned for a td. if you was at the game you would have known that. I hope Macon wins all there games so we can play them again, our players are so tired of this Macon Co. crap. Its just like all we heard was how jacob law was so awesome and he did nothing in the game( did he even play?) if he did he sure was quite for 4 quaters.Macon has one decent season and they talk all this trash like they are a dominant team. Oh yeah what about the Trousdale game I heard " The Macon players went to the center of the field at the 50 yard line and spit and stomped the Trousdale Co. symbol". I heard this from a Smith Co. person that was at the game so what do ya have to say about yalls team. I know the coaching staff doesnt teach or encourage anything like that cause they from smith co. MF

well, you better listen good to that whistle while you have the chance cause in week 10 when Smith Co. comes to town its all over for ya. MF

Trousdale Co. is not that good this year, they dont have a running game and their passing game is only fair. Their defense is very overrated, but they do have a great coach and an good linebacker in Roy James that will lay you out in a minute.Trousdale and Riverdale are the only teams that i know of that can lose half their games and still be in the top 10 in the state and everyone still talk about how good they are. Trousdale started off 0-1 and was still #1 in the state....but any ways I stilll think Trousdale wins this one 24-8 MF

Portland beat Macon Macon Beat Smith If Smith Beats Portland there is a tie for 1st place theres no way Macon could beat Smith again we were unfocused and ready for the following week against Trousdale. we did overlook a very good Macon team and they beat us, but you forget Smith was inside the 10 yard line 6 times and got stopped 5 times because we ran up the middle every time. The questionable play calling got us beat and the coaching staff has fixed the problem. we are running more formations and getting more of our players involved. that proves that Smith can move the ball on Macon at any time. 7 of the points Macon scored was on a bubble pass that hit a Smith Co. fullback in the chest and bounced in the defenders hands that he ran back 70 yards, take that back and its only 14-7 with Smith co. in Tiger territory. Dont get me wrong Macon has the best team that i have ever known them to have and i wish them the best of luck. I hope we see you in the playoffs after we when the region Go Big OWLS MF

I dont think FCS has what it takes to beat G-ville. G-ville will win their region after putting away FCS and Watertown and if they play like they have been playing they will go far in the post season. G-ville despite 2 losses has a good team, They have been beat by 2 really good teams( like my OWLS ) and a ranked Greenback. They have been playing very well after that shutout by Greenback, I dont see them losing rest of season. Hope Tigers win every game after week 1... ha ha ha A "MIGHTY OWL" FAN MF

scfan, I didnt know that but i guess thats why the score was so bad.If the kid is still out this week I say P-Twn by at least 30. If he is back then that changes the whole game and it could be closer but i still see Portland winning. I agree, there was a lot of trash talkin by both teams but it wouldnt be football it there wasnt. But when it got serious on the field both teams came together in prayer for the youngster that took a nasty fall.We get on here every week and talk smack about other teams but we should all ways be concerned for the safety of the players no matter what team is playing.SC and TC are well disiplined and and coached and that goes alot further than just on the field.Good luck TC except when you play SC. ha-ha MF

thcoach, i came to talk to you and Bean told me to keep quite. now as far as a joke it hurt him.he sat with his friends and listened to the radio that night because he was excited to see what yall said about him because he thought he had a good game,and all yall did was laugh and make jokes about him.his feelings were HURT and he was mad. i was really upset at you and brian along with my family so becareful what yall say. i did listen to every word that night and heard nothing about how good he was doing,so this isnt hearsay. i do believe yall like Bean especially Brian and Brett they've coached him every year he's played ball.i also believe that it was a joke it just hurt his feelings and that upset me off, thats why i was so vocal at the game.i do believe yall are good coaches and i do have faith in you guys but i think you need to keep the intensity up all night (keep them fired up all night) and the play calling has to get better. Chuck is also a good coach and i think he is going to make those changes and help lead us to victory.TC is weak this year regaurdless what they say, if we play good we shouldnt have any trouble. i do have plenty of faith in the staff and the team so whatever happenes ill be there and every other game cheering yall on.GO OWLS MF

mirrorman, i might be going bout this the wrong way i was just furious about this laughing **** at my brother. i thought it was immature for two grown men to laugh at a high school football player and very unprofessional. thats no way to give anyone confidence.and what about this downtalkin the players saying we have no allstars on the team? we have a great bunch of athletes we need to let them know they are as good as anyone else and try to motivate them to be that way.i will settle down and lay off the coaches because everyone makes mistakes,but we have to do a better job about preparing for a big game.now i want you to eat Beans *** when he misses tackles or messes up period but also let the team know you do realize their good efforts.im simply saying we CANT concentrate on giving the ball to 1 or 2 players (even Bean), or be 1 demensional on offense.we have to many weapons to limit ourselves to 1or2. we have a great QB, great WR, and an awesome RB not to envolve them all. now Brett lets get down to business and get these kids ready to kick TC butt. there not invinsible TC they do have a L in the ole Loss column. heydaddy, it is Beans brother and if you knew anything about people from smith co. you would know thats why i put MF instead of SF at the end of my reply. i guess i do need to get my own name im just on here alot but i guess i will be now. and yes bean did get run down from behind but he catches everything thrown to him and if im not mistaken that was prob about a 45-50 run. im guessing here but since you know bean and you have daddy in your name you prob have a son that does not start for Smith Co. and if thats the only way that he can start is if bean quits i dont think he needs to play anyway,so i wouldnt talk.im saying Bean makes big plays for the team when given the chance along with other good players but our coaches did a terrible job of play calling and getting the team ready to play in a big game our play calling has gotten worse in each game and now it bit us in the ***. oh yea Bean did not miss any passes or run the wrong routes so what are you talkin about?

I think Smith Co. has the better team on all sides of the ball. its just whether our staff will step up and coach them to victory. If they coach like they did against Macon it will be a real ugly one for SC. Smith Co. plays there best when they mix it up alot and get EVERYONE involved instead of relying on 1 or 2 players. you have to have the defense guessing what you gonna run or WHOS gettin the ball.we have a good solid player at every position,we just need to use them. I have heard numerous times from our staff that we dont have any allstars on our team and that may be because they are not coached very well and that they have their confidence so low they think their not any better than anyone else.They are not motivated at all. I have talked to 6 or 7 players and they say they are never told that they do a good job and always find something wrong with technique or the way they did something. They think they dont ever do a good job,that they are only an average player.its not gonna be good until they have confidence and motivation. until the coaches get their ducks in a row, were gonna have problems with real good teams, regaurdless of our talent. i will support my guys no matter what, because i know their great. i was at the game fri night watching my brother and i have to say that smith co. has a great team but there coaching staff is pretty bad. If you watched the game you could tell that the players were confused most of the night, acting like they did not know what was going on, our coaches let them lose intensity and the game. They coached like they wanted them to lose! You would think i am making excuses but look and all the games we won we were passing 50% of the time and running 50% of the time. all we did fri night was run up the middle or throw the tightend a screen pass. we were inside the 20 yard line 5 times and all we did was run between the tackles, and guess what Macon done a wonderful job of sniffing it out and stopping it. now by no means am i saying our tight end or running back arent good players but when that is all you do, its not hard to shut them down. we ran the same 5 or 6 plays all night, it was ridiculous. Oh yeah another thing about our coaches. We have a player #4 Shaun Frey in week 3 (he is the starting WR and LB, )he ran a punt back 59 yards for a touchdown, caught a 15 yard touchdown and sacked the QB in the endzone which was recovered for another owl touchdown. The Smith Co. COACHES was interviewed on the Carthage radio station and they talked about how slow he is and LAUGHED at him.They said nothing good about his game or really even mentioned what he did for the team. It is that type of leadership that lead us into the Macon Co. woopin we recieved. dont that make ya feel good. Good Luck Macon Co. you guys did play an outstanding game.

Smith Co. is the best team in 3a they will be 1st in region 4, TC-2nd, Portland and Macon will be either 3 or 4 Go Big Owls

Shaun Frey #4 for Smith Co. he done all of that and more to lead the Owls this week. But Smith Co. plays great as a TEAM, he had great blocking and passing from his teammates.GO OWLS

Smith co. will be too much for Macon co. with there impressive defense led by Morgan Hix and Chris Mcconnell.this will be a great game but i think too many weapons for smith co. you talk about a young qb our qb is a junior and his first year starting as well, our corners are a junior and a FRESHMAN #17 our running back is a junior. our kicker has never even played football until this year sowe have plenty of youth as well,so no excuses. i pick Smith Co. 40-12

yes the private teams recruit, they might not pay the students( im not sure) but they do wave their tuition to go to such a "great" school. but anyway Smith Co is the best team in the state,they are 4-0 in regular season and 3-0 in scrimmages and ranked 3rd in the state in 4-3a. they have 146 pts in four games to 41pts of opponets.

i cant believe all yall are counting on white house beating portland by 2 and 3 tds.this is portland the team that no matter how good they are soppused to be is always good.we scrimmaged white house and they are good but i have to put i money on portland by 6.

yall say how good yall have been the past 2 years going to the third round 2 years in a row.won the region twice,21-5 in the past 2 years,and 11 straight in 01.if im not mistaken yall havent beat us in the past 5 years.now thats a stat yall might want to think about.
