  1. it disappoints me in the fact this years team had almost NO injures... compared to my senior season (2004) and still only won three games. we were without IMO the best overall QB SH has seen in 5-6 years Brandon Shoun and a WR in Justice Joslin playing QB and still won four games and gave DB a decent game when they were ranked number one in the state, also our three-year starter at fullback JD Scott was down from a S. South scrimmage AND our Pre-season all-state FS Drew Turner was out by the Betsy game to name a few.... we were playing with so much inexperience it was stupid and still managed to win four games. I know it is only one more but the talent level was SO much higher this past season as well as an offense that is exciting, we were running the I-formation with a undersized oline. It just urks me that my team finished better than this MORE talented team... good luck next year... Adams, Kinley, Green, and Smith are going to have to step up big this next year they are the most talented returning IMO.
  2. Watts is the reason they stunk it up. and Randy Ferrell... OR STEVE SPURRIER (big lol, jk)
  3. SHHS should have won this game, i don't care what any of you say. yes DB won, props. but SHHS played better IMO though. Best game since the 02 game
  4. yeah that '04 team took it to them in the first half making everyone say "What the heck?" then depth and athleticism (not to mention speed) took over to a roll for DB. go Toppers
  5. Ohio football is better than the rest of the nation. (sorry gotta rep the home state)
  6. ...yeah but in '04 we put up 49 on bearden breakout games for shoun and joslin... in fact it was the game shoun broke his hand to ruin our playoff hopes im still bitter. haha
  7. ah yes, Sevier Co... as you pull in with the fence and all the flags out in front of the school you know you're in for a treat. then you get back to the field where it's a huge one sided (the home side) steep buncha seats. and the slope on the field is crazy as is the sloppyness if it rains. during the 2004 i got so muddy it was ridiculous.... i really hope SHHS would throw more and open up the spread offense, i feel they can't throw very well because tucker doesn't seem comfortable. i want to see 200+ (at least) yard passing games! look for a big game from solomon (who SHOULD be the starter and get almost every carry at this point) my pred.... Sevier Co. 21 SHHS 20... going all the way down to the 4th qtr. btw, that Danny Thomas for the Vikings is gonna be a good one. shoulda started him last year over Booher (heh)
  8. dobyns-bennett...i hate to say it is probably right up there
  9. David Alexander is as closest thing to Joslin as they have. He's got the same potential in every aspect and has shown a little already this year
  10. Look for a big game by Green, Ferguson, and Trent (SH LB's)
  11. dang why was it so lopsided...is THS really that good this year?
  12. I'm still taking DB (big)... I don't see a "KNOX KARNS UPSET" at Bearden happening this friday... SH has the week off at least
  13. Betsy has three first hard games. They could squeek this one out, I am unsure of who plays for TN High at all now, but if they can contain their run game they may be alright because I never knew of a TN High team that passed much... Smith is a good player and they NEED a run game. If E-Town wins.. they will run the table unless South SHOWS UP in their game with them..
  14. Cleveland Glennville. enough said.
