OK, you liberal freaks! Stealing is not a prank. It is a crime. I really don't believe these players intended to return the helmets before they got caught. Yeah, they did return the helmets, after they got caught and were forced to return them! A prank is more like taking your friend's hat and then hiding it and watch them squirm until you break down and tell them where it is. A prank is calling someone and playing a funny joke that BOTH parties will laugh about when it is revelaed that it is just a joke. I do no believe that Lavergne and Blackman are laughing because some helmets were stolen from them. Matter of factly, I would be willing to bet that both schools are pretty upset. Prank or no prank. Theft is a crime, not a prank. I would believe it that this was a prank if the players took the helmets back a day later, but it's not very likely that would have happened. Yeah, I have pranked people all my life, but I have never stolen anything with criminal intent. Call me a liar, but I also believe the Bible says "Thou shalt not steal". So, tell God it's not wrong. In response to the Lebanon theft scandal, I have to say that it is a shame that players can go and STEAL; which is a felony if the cost of the items stolen exceed I think $200, I could be mistaken, but it could also be a misdemeanor; helmets from opposing schools and only have to sit out a game and write an apology. This is a disgrace to the justice system and our schools. Any school probably has a suspension policy for any kind of theft. If these fellows are of age, they should be arrested and brought to trial. Just because they made a poor judgement call and stole some helmets gives no reason to not take action! A lot of people have made poor judgement calls and killed someone and are now in prison. They were representing their school, the school should also take action! Stop pussing out because these players are athletes and play a major role on the team. They screwed up! Make them face the consquences. Their job on Friday nights is to go play football and go home, not go play football steal something and then go home. If there is one thing in this world lower than the scum that grows on the scum of the earth, it is a thief. Go out and earn what you deserve, if you haven't earned it, don't take it. I challenge the schools that were stolen from to press charges, and Lebanon High School to take action and discipline these thieves. They wouldn't get away with it if they went to a sports store and tried to walk out with 3 helmets and not pay would they? Why should they get away with it in this situation??

Well, I am going to go ahead and put my 2 cents in. I have not seen Stratford play this year, so I am going strictly on pride for this week. MJ over Stratford Northwest over White House (very tough decision) Whites Creek barely over Pearl Cohn>upset of the week Northeast over Maplewood Rossview over Springfield If everything plays out as I say, MJ should be in good shape for the playoffs. Although WH over NW would definitely help MJ more if MJ wins Friday.

When Adam Zoccola put Fred Sparkman out for the count in MJs game against Columbia Central. Classic moment.

Hahaha, I caught that too, I may not like a team, matter of factly, I may hate a team, but I would never wish Ill Will on anyone. It is very wrong to hope anyone to get hurt or to play bad. I do hope Smyrna embarasses Leb. though, weird I guess.

MJ in 2000, Beech rolls in 8-0 and MJ SHUTS THEM OUT 19-0. The most memorable night at MJ for me.

I hope Smyrna wins this one, even though I don't like either team, one because of the smack talking done by both teams. I only want Smyrna to win because I hate Lebanon more than I hate Smyrna. I can remember last year for both teams, starting with Smyrna, one of their players absolutely got floored by an MJ player, and the ref got onto the MJ player cause the hit was right before the whistle, but the SHS player was on the ground for a good 5-15 seconds, and he got up and started talking smack to the player that decleated him, needless to say, they both exhanged a few words, but I found it funny from the stands that the SHS player had the audacity to talk smack after he got leveled. Lebanon last year, was the most disgusting display of UNsportsmanship. After a Lebanon score, the running back who had just scored went over the Lebanon sidelines and starting grabing his crotch towards the fans and making gross gestures. So either way I dislike both teams but wish them both the best of luck and hopefully Lebanon will be embarassed.

Some of those parents probably didn't have players on the team. I will tell you that I am sorry for anything that was said that was hostile. Some people don't understand the concept of sportsmanship and every school has their few that are that way, all in all, Northwest is a great group of players and coaches and deserve much recognition for their show o sportsmanship. Once again I apologize for some of MJs fans. How was the atmosphere during the game? Did you enjoy it?

Well after the dust has settled from all of last nights games and a few close calls for some big teams, here are the new rankings for our region. 1. Whitehouse (5-0) 2. Stratford and Pearl Cohn (4-1) 3. Northwest and Mt. Juliet (3-2) 4. Northeast Whites Creek Rossview (2-3) 5. Maplewood and Springfield (0-5) Two weeks left men, what happens in the home stretch?? Does MJ have a chance to make the playoffs or do they start getting ready for next year? Can Northwest get past White House this week? Can Whites Creek upset PC? Will any more playoff berths be clinched or denied this week?? Any predictions??

Tough loss for the Bears as they fall to 4-4 (3-2). Congratulations to the classiest football program I have seen in a while. The coaches and players were very humble and thankful when congratulated and wished the best of luck the rest of the way. I just want to say that either way it went, I hated to see anyone lose that game last night. Northwest and Mount Juliet put on a great show last night and either team deserved to win. Unfortunately my Bears couldn't pull it off. Wilkerson is a monster. He can run the ball like he was born doing it. CoachChris, I have to say, you have an excellent program in this football team. I smell a region rivalry brewing here. This was a very exciting game that I hated to see end. Great atmosphere and great show by the players. Congrats to the Vikings.

The Mount Juliet vs. Clarksville-Northwest game will be played on Thursday, and not Friday. Kickoff is at 7:30 PM. In case anyone wants to come to a game on Thursday...
