Slim Bob...Are you from Smyrna? You seem to know alot about them. The Hale boy that was good graduated last year and his little brother is a sissy. Don't expect too much from him this year. Is Franklin stacked from top to bottom this year. I know they have around 4-5 really solid guys from the light weights to the middle classes. GO Brentwood....

I'm so glad someone has sense. Hopefully Region V will be back to normal this year. I heard that Franklin is really gonna kick some butt this year. I also heard that Blackman has some surprises this year. Brentwood will dominate though. They are always a team that rises to the occasion. Goodbye Smyrna, hope you enjoyed your flash in the pan. This poll is going to be screwed up. Did you see some of the teams that were posted in the top 20. Whitehouse got a first place vote...come on now. Also, how the heck did Smyrna end up in the top 10 and why is Franlin #6? I hope people get serious about this.

Has anyone heard where Sholly is going to wrestle this year? He needs to stick around 125 - 130. Otherwise, his fate will be the same as last year...

If I recall, Brentwood beat Franklin last year in the Region Duals and from what I gather not too many of Brentwood's wrestlers graduated. So that would lead me to believe that Brentwood will still be on top. I want to know why everyone is so gung-ho about Franklin. I know why I am but what about everyone else. DblTech

They STINK!!!! Smyrna was one of the luckiest teams this last year. They will have no one this next season. So anyone who thinks that they can do something is sorely mistaken. Coach Goyhu or whatever his name is...hasn't done anything at Smyrna. They have always stunk and they still do. Way to go coach. DBLTECH

Last year they let Smyrna win the region, hopefully they'll pick up the pace this year....

Smyrna will be in the bottom ranks of the region this year. They lost all their talent. They were a flash in the pan... They lost Hays, Wallace, and David Hale. Their Heavyweight was even lucky to make it to state. I'm telling you that Brentwood will dominate. As far as region V goes, it is the largest region. Not to take anything away from Soddy or Bradley, but when your region only has 8-10 teams in it, it is pretty easy to dominate your region. It takes region V 2 full days of wrestling to complete the region tournament. Most other regions finish theirs in one night. I think Franklin will be number 2 this year. I also think that Forrest will show a little differnt this year. As far as Smyrna goes, they STINK!!!!! They haven't done anything that should give them so much praise. I swear, when you watch them wrestle (if you want to call it that) they look like they work out for 5 minutes and then nap for and hour and a half. Look to the real talent in region V. You'll see...teams like Brentwood, Franklin and Forrest will dominate.

Who will dominate Region V this year? We all know that Smyrna was fluke with winning it last year. Should have been Brentwood. I know Franklin will be tough to beat with the 3 or 4 studs they have. How about Tullahoma after losing Cleveland? Lester is a great coach, but does he have the talent on his squad? Region V is getting better you must admit...
