  1. I am sure he is, he started for me at QB in the 6th grade. He was also a heck of a CB. Looked small, but you better not run to his side. Chunk_d did say #5 on the 8th grade team. Got to be Jacob Tucker! A great kid and a awesome athlete! This kid will do well in the future. Does Collinwood have a freshman on the team named Ethan Borden? He left the school that I am at now and went to C'wood. Just wondering if he was playing and how he was doing.
  2. Does anyone know who this #5 is? Just curious. I have a good Idea. Sounds like Jacob Tucker, One of the most talented kids I have ever coached!!! I know he wore 5 two years ago. Good Luck Vikings
  3. Good Luck Vikings, but I am glad to hear that Coach Rice is doing well this year also. Good job Coach!
  4. It is great to hear that Robert is in College. I hope he does well. Mr. Francis, my email address is retsalt@yahoo.com keep me informed on how he is doing. I still can't believe how much Robert improved from year to year. This young man went from not knowing much about football to making an all state team and going to college. If that is not success in a program, would someone please tell me what is. It is all about the kids, lets keep it that way!
  5. Hang in there Vikings and keep your heads up. Good days will come! The world of 1A football is like a roller coaster one minute your up, the next minute your down, but you do eventually go back up again. Stay positive and stay focused, and what ever you do never quit!!!
  6. There was success in the program before last year. The only winning season PC has had was in 1999. Actually made the playoffs two or three times from 1999 to 2002. If EVERYONE pulls together and supports the team success will return to the program!
  7. Hang in there and support the team. Good days will come! Give things time to develop.
  8. Yes I do remeber that hit. One of the best hits I have seen in H.S. football. Heck, I haven't seen hits like that in NCAA or NFL. I am sure the Frazier kid from JCS remembers it too.
  9. Calvin you were a heck of a player. Never will forget when you broke your arm in 7th grade in drills going agaist Forrest White. You never once complained about your arm, all you could say was "Dang, now I ain't gonna get to play" missed the entire season due to your arm, but you came back the next year and did a great job! Went on to H.S. to be one of the best the school has had. Good Job!
  10. Yes, send me an email from time to time to let me know how you are doing. retsalt@yahoo.com
  11. Shannon was a great athlete. I remeber in practice one day he was playing strong safety during a scrimmage and hit one of our receivers and almost knocked him out. When the other kids started saying things like "Dang Shannon, you didn't have to kill him" Shannon came back with a coment that I still use on the field today. This quote truely describes the kind of player Shannon was. " We didn't come out here to play two hand touch!!!" That is the mentality of a true football player! I do not know where Shannon is today or what he is doing, but I wish him the best of luck.
  12. I heard about Dakota playing on another thread. I am glad he came out for varsity football. He was a great player in middle school. I am glad to see that Cody Leegan is still playing. He was pretty quick on the defensive line in middle school and seemed to improve week by week. I am also glad to hear that Jake McCaig is playing, but I still wished he would have played middle school ball.
  13. Zemer and Sanders both went to Bethel, but I am not sure if they are still ther or how they are doing.
  14. Who is 22 and 66? Glad to hear that Mercer is playing. Good Luck Dray! Give PC two to three more years and you will see a big difference. Right now they are young, the lower grades (8 &9) are loaded with talent. When I left PC Last year, I left one of the best teams I would have ever had there. I hated to leave them, but oppotunity only knocks once they say.
  15. Shannon Rainey did play at Perry County. He came to PC from TPS. Great athlete, if you see him ask him whats up with the shoe string under the goal post?
  16. I agree with the names that you mentioned being some of the best PC has had, but I am not going to rank them. However, It is hard to mention the best players with out listing names like Wesley Hedgepath, who was recruited by some colleges but chose another route, Kenny Trull, Wes Waters, Jeremy Breaud, Brian Cagle, Clay Pope(Who in one game ran a fake punt from standing on his own goal line for a TD), Craig Mercer who played one year at Martin, Brian Taylor who only got to play one year because football started his senior year, and several others who played the game well. I will have to agree that Chris Reed has the potential to be the best that PC has ever had.
  17. The current coach at PC is the 6th head coach in 11 seasons. Calvin Aldridge 97 and 98 Danny Aldridge 99 David Wampler 2000 Rick Rice 01-05 Bronson Bradley 06 Current Coach 07 Keep your heads up Vikings and play hard. Give the new coaches a chance to work in their program. Play hard and never quit!!!
  18. I coached a lot of good players the nine years that I was at PC. I am not going to attempt to say who was the best or even make a list of the best players. I was just wondering who was claiming to be the best to come through?
