Waverly Vs Montgomery Central this Friday the 27th. What are your game predictions? Waverly is a 2A school and Mont.Central is a 3A school. I have heard that Mont. Central is looking strong this year. Any comments or predictions please feel free to list. This is Waverly's Homecoming, Mont. Central is a huge rival for Waverly. Waverly and Mont. Central go way back.

Houston Vs Mcewen. Mcewen will win this game easily as long as they defend the pass offense of the IRISH. Houston Co. plays tough and have some talent but just arent the team they were last year. If you can stop their passing game you will win. Good luck to all!

Waverly's is this Friday against Montgomery Central. PANTHER FOOTBALL-- we know we are your HOMECOMING on Oct. 4th. Good luck! Itll be the biggest region matchup this year! We have spoiled one HOMECOMING,I hate to say, but I hope we spoil yours!

OK. Well if you look at the region standings its a tie, true, but if youll see in the paper how they have the teams arranged it is by the season record standings. We have the better season record and if you look at www.tennessean.com you will see that we are in the lead over all in percentage, but yes your right the region is tied with 3 teams but still we are unbeaten and we are truely first, by everyones eyes, the media, papers, stats, etc..

Waverly 18 Harpeth 0 What can I say? It feels good to be 1st in the region and 4-0, but really our work is far from done. Yeah our defense has only allowed 14 points scored on us, and that coming from only one team, and our offense scoring a total of 127 points in 4 games, and yes we are undefeated and yes it looks promising for a great season, but like I said we have some work we have to handle, and its going to be tough. We still have Lewis Co., Loretto, and Fairview in the region to play against to get to the Region Champions spot, and I agree and must say its not going to be a walk in the park, its going to take hard work. I told everyone on here, that all these teams in the region were underestimating the WAVERLY TIGERS, and to watch out cause we were going somewhere and we were going to prove it. Have we got your attention yet? Yeah Harpeth and Richland werent the best teams, but have we had anyone score on us in the region? Not yet. Im not tryin to talk smack or anything, I believe the rest of the season will be a great challenge, Im just sayin when you come to play the TIGER TEAM your in for a fight, not just for a win, but for THE REGION CHAMPIONSHIP. I dont think this will be as easy as 3AMann says, its a Big Region game for Waverly and Harpeth and Harpeth is coming off of a 2 game losing streak, and it is their first home game too. Im looking to think this will be a physcial and good game but The Waverly Tigers are on a roll, and Waverly plans to come ready to play, The Tigers have been working very hard and are eager to go 4-0 and 2-0 in the Region, This is a big reason The Tigers will be playing so hard, considering The Tigers have had 2, 1 and 9 seasons and 1, 3 and 7 season, the past 3 years, and now are starting out at 3-0. The TIGERS ARE HUNGRY AND ARENT LETTING DOWN W/OUT A FIGHT! 1st IN THE REGION SOUNDS SWEET IF THE TIGERS CAN KEEP IT, I guess we will see this Friday night in HARPETH.

What do you think the out come of this big region game will be?

Just wanted to show the score of the Waverly VS Houston Co. game. We won 33-14. Houston played hard and I have to give them credit. We are now 3-0. We play Harpeth this coming Friday, a big region game. We are going to have to work hard this week, and hopefully come out with another win. Lets make it 4-0, 2-0 in the region. This will be a really good game. Its going to be close. We will see where we stand after this game, until then I think we moved to 1st in the Region because of Lewis Co.'s loss to Riverside. Tigers Den is right. I agree totally with him. I do believe no one needs to be saying anything until after the game friday. All I have to say is we will be ready to play our "A" game, like we have done the past 2 games, it just gets better every week, we are movin up the ladder and we are working very hard and we have shown it. We will continue to do this. I beilieve in this TIGER TEAM. We are Respectful to everyone and I apologize for the remarks made by some unknown person at the top of this. It was disrespectful and maybe he is just excited about this team and the way we are doing. We deserve to be excited, but we have class, and im sure we will continue the leadership we have shown. I am #7 from Waverly..I just want to confirm that the score was 48 to 0 and i scored a touchdown...GO TIGERS..BWTP!!!!! SEE I TOLD YOU GUYS TO WATCH OUT...WE ARE A BETTER TEAM THIS YEAR!!! GOOD LUCK TO ALL

All i have to say is that i think this is going to be a great and close game. Im not sure who will win, but i do know that Harpeth isnt who they were in the past, and Lewis Co. who have you beat??? NOBODIES. And to Lewis Co. what is the big deal with Fairview? Why does everyone think of them to be so good this year? What have they proved? Nothing yet. Nobody has any room to talk samck in this Region until after Friday night cause we all play region games. We will see Friday night. You better be watching us. Waverly. We have improved as a team and have rebuilt over the past 3 years. We have 53 players this year and alot of experience and class. I am a Senior this year and I have started all 4 years of Highschool. Im not the only one on this team. We all have. We had to rebuild. We have. Im not promising anything cause im not going to brag like everyone else is. I have learned the past 3 years what its like to lose and i know how it feels. Anyone remember the 98 year of jr high? Almost everyone in our region now played then. If your a junior or senior you know about the team we had. We went undeafted and won the 2A championship that year. We beat you Lewis and you Harpeth. Things change though. We have from the past 3 years. We have improved.We have had a rough past 3 years in highschool but we are rebuilt and ready to unload. We will play hard. You better be watching and learning quick who WAVERLY is. You will see us. And we will play you til the end. We started out this season with a blow out win against rivals Camden Central and havent lost a scrimmage this summer-- we played 4. The Waverly Tigers have definately improved this year, with 53 players joining the team, the Tigers are looking strong with a great start in the season opener against Camden Central. Waverly has lost to Camden Central the past 3 years, but blew them away this year 21 to 0! Big region game coming up this friday against Richland. Who will come out on top? Go TIGERS!
