The Waverly Tigers will be hosting McKenzie this Friday night at the Tigers House. The first time in 8 years Waverly has obtained home field advantage. Waverly is looking strong this year, improving over the past 4 years where the Tigers had 3 losing seasons, two 1-9 seasons, and one 3-7 season last year. Now, we are 8-2 in the 2nd seed of the playoffs hosting the 1st round at home. So what is your predictions on this game? Who will go home? Who will move on? Who is the better team? Well all I really have to say is MAN it feels GREAT to be 8-2 and hosting playoffs at home in the first round! My Freshman year we went 1-9, Sophomore 1-9, Junior 3-7, Now SENIOR 8-2, and hosting the playoffs at the 2nd seed in the region! It has been a long hard road to travel but it seems to be rewarding at the end! I just wanna tell my team and coaches that we have done a great job and we will continue to work hard and fight our best in the playoffs! TOGETHER we have accomplished soooo much! Way to go TIGERS!! I told our student body at a pep ralley this year at the begining of the season that we were going some where this year, Im glad to say now that we definately backed that up! Lewis should win this game. They are the better team by all means. Just watch Loretto's cheap shots and watch their mouth cause they like to talk alot! Lewis also needs to watch Loretto's passing game, we all know Lewis has the worst Pass Defense in the region, and Loretto has a good passing game.Well good luck to both teams! Its sad all this trash talking. You know Waverly hasnt said anything negative about this game. I really think that YOU Fairview maybe need to concentrate on preparing for us instead of getting on here and telling us about how you have some tricks up your sleeves! And also telling us your going to beat us and all that mess. You know our team is really respectful of every team and player but it really gets us upset off when all you do is talk smack. You guys have an advantage on us true.... 2 weeks to prepare, and we also play a very good and physical team that beat Lewis Co. this week, 1 week before you guys. Waverly did have a bad night when we played against Lewis Co., and dont get me wrong they are very good, but if you could watch the film, you will see we layed down in the first quarter, that is very unlike us! We have realized from watching film, and understanding what we did wrong and planned to pick it up. We have, we had a easy win last friday night against Stewart Co., with out our starting Tailback Mr. Jessie Hayes him self, he had a rolled ankle, and didnt even play one play in the game. I played tailback and had 20 carries for 106 yards and 3 touchdowns. I usually play wing. Our big man is back this week for the big one against Loretto, and we have been working extra hard, and we will play our best! Waverly beat Richland 48-0 Even though Waverly played Lewis Co. terribly, that was the worst playing we have ever played all season long. Richland is no competition for Lewis. Lewis will win this one easily. Waverly will meet Lewis again in the playoffs. We plan on playing well this friday night against Loretto for 2nd place in the region and also for the right to have playoffs at home. I believe we can do it. Good luck Lewis and Richland! Well all I have to say is Im excited to see who wins this game. Harpeth has had a rough season, Fairview has had a descent one.I really believe that if Harpeth plays with all their heart they can beat Fairview. Im excited to see how well Fairview plays against them. Harpeth should be about ready to explode after the season they have had, maybe they can come out and ruin one for the jackets! From what I hear Cothran is the big man in jacket land. If Harpeth can stop him and execute thier offensive game they should win. To both teams if you stop the tailbacks you will win. Not to make Sharp or ne one sound bad, but I really thought Sharp was a really good QB and he can run the ball good and throw, and kick but honestly you dont have to worry about hitting him, he is scared. I tried to tackle and even block him a couple of times and he would just dive to the ground. I cant really blame him if I was that good of a QB and if he is as good as every one says I would probally dive so I wouldnt get hammered by me too! OR ne one else. But on your quote I dont think they have to worry about having much of ne thing to tackle him he will just lay down for you.LOL! I give credit to the Panthers though, they are a good team and they will come out on top!

Waverly VS Lewis Co. The big region game we have been waiting for. Waverly coming off a disappointing loss, but honestly we didnt play like the Tiger Team does or is capable of. Come Friday night when the lights come on, This Tiger Team WILL be ready to play. This will be a tough game. Waverly is ofcourse the underdogs in this game, playing the Region Champs of last year, I believe we have a little bone to pick with these boys, We lost our Homecoming last year to this team, I hope the TIGERS can come off this disappointing loss and take it to Lewis Co. come Friday night.Good luck to all! Good post 24tigersbaby, we are proud of our man Jesse, and we are very proud of this team, and I just wanna say that all of you out there talkin smack about this team, when are you going to quit underestimating this football team? Everyone has doubted us every week and look at us. Yeah wow 4-0, no big deal right? Yeah wow only 1 team has scored on us, no big deal right?
