Don't Try And Take Anything Away From These Young Men... They Deserve More Then What Anyone Can Give Them On The Board.. And That Goes To All Teams And All Players... Some Will Go ON To Play At The Next Level... Most Will Not. But One Thing Is For Sure They All Will Always Remember This Year For The Rest Of Their Life Just LIke You Remember 1994.... We Have A 3 Year Break Now Until Our Youngest Son Gets To High School... But I KNow Jesse And Myself And His Mom Will Be Around To Watch And Support The Tigers And Be Ready In 3 Years When " Road Hogg " Gets To High School He Will Take Up Where His Brother #24 Jesse "Slim" Left Off.... The Stats Came From One Of The Coaches Not The Paper And Not The Ones I Kept....After Every Game The Next Day I Got The Stats From One Of The Other Coaches To Compair With The Ones I Had To See How Far Off I Was .. Infact On 3 Games The Coach Had Him With More Yards Then I Did.... On The 40 Time It Was Whatever They Used At School The Coaches Did The Times.... As For The Time Played... Maybe He Did Carry The Ball Once Or Twice In The 2nd Half Of The Games But Mostly If He Was In The Game It Was As A Decoy... YOu Can See By The Amount Of Carries That He Didn't Run The Ball That Much In The Houston Co. Game... And In The Camden Game He Only Ran The Ball A Total Of 5 Times IN The 2nd Half... I'm Not On Here To Fight Or Start Anything The Guy Asked For Stats And I Believe Besides The Coach I Am The Only One That Has Them. Jesse Is My Son And I Am Proud Of Him..To Me He Is The Best Running Back IN The State And No One Can Make Me Believe Differnt...Waverly Was Blessed With Alot Of Talent This Year At Every Position And Yes Their Line I Think Was One Of The Best.. But You Have No Idea What Jesse Has Had To Go Though And To See People Try To Put Him Down Kills Me... Another Thing Because Of A Past Which Has Nothing To Do With Jesse Or Football Jesse Is Having To Take 2 Years Of School At Once Just So He Will Beable To Play This Game He Loves Next Year.. He Is Taking His Reg School Work At School Plus Taking Another 6 Courses At Home... Then You Add Football Practice And Games.... Everyone Has Their Opinion And That Is Fine Cause I Have Mine.. And If YOu Don't Like Jesse Thats Fine Just Don't Try To Get Me To Say That He Isn't The Best Cause You Can't.

Camden...21-189 Played 3 Quarters Richland...19-196 Played 2 Quarters Houston Co...12-98 Played 2 Quarters Harpteh...27-183 ( Injured Back At End Of Game ) Montgomery Cent...13-95.. Limited Action Was Hurting Lewis Co....9-58... Again Limited Action Cause Of Injury Stewart Co...Didn't Play Loretto...28-180 Riverside...31-209 Fairview...20-248 Total...180-1456 He Runs a 4.42 40..Has ran a 4.39 But Is Constant At 4.42 But Yes Jesse Will Be The First One To Tell You It's Because Of His Line That He Gets The Yards.. But I Will Say Thats True Everywhere Even In The NFL.. The RB Gets The Glory Thats Just The Way It Is. Last Year Jesse Ended The Season With 1203 Yards And Only Started In 6 Games.... The Dedication Jesse Has Is Beyond Approach... Just Ask His Jr High Coach ... Because Of His age, Jesse was ineligible to play his 8th grade year. The coach made arrangements for Jesse to be allowed to practice with them. Jesse put in 5 days a week in the heat practicing with the football team and dressed out every game night knowing full well he would not be allowed to play in any game. As far as HEART.... that is HEART. The love for the sport kept him going and kept him working hard. So when you say that another player has more heart than one.... You need to know all the facts. And What Really Hurts Me As His Dad Is Since He Is From Waverly And Without Being Promoted Like Most RBs He Will Have To Work Harder Then The Rest To Get Where He Wants To Be. I Will Give Credit To His Line They Are A Great Line But Please Don't Take Anything Away From A Boy That Loves The Game And Gives 110% On Every Play.

I Just Want To Say Good Luck Fairview And Lewis Co... Now... Yes The Game Plan McKenzie Had Worked If That Was Their Plan... They Are Big Up Front On Offense.. If They Try The Same Thing Against Fairview... If Fairview Can Get Pressure On Their QB Then I Think Fairview Will Win.. Fairview Does Have A Better Offense Then McKenzie But If You Don't Pressure The QB When They Do Try And Pass Then Come The 4th Quarter Their BIG O Line Will Wear Down The D Line.. And Their Backs Are BIG Also. McKenzies Containment On The Out Side Wasn't All That Good But Our #32 Jake Damesworth Had Some Good Runs Up The Middle But Not Alot.. And Ya'll Know He Is An Excellent Middle Runner McKenzie Is Strong In The Middle.. If You Can Get Outside You Will Have Success Against Them.... And Aaron....#24 Jesse Wants Me To Tell You Good Luck And Run Strong.. He Just Wishes He Could Have Played Against McKenzie GOOD LUCK Fairview And Make Our Region Proud!!! I Can Tell You What Happened... The Tigers Lost One Game To A Very Good Team.. It Just So Happens It Was In The Playoffs Where If You Lose Your Season Is Over.. There Is No Blame.. The Boys Played Hard The Coach Did The Best Job He Could.. He Called The Plays He Thought Was The Best To Win The Game.. No One In Waverly Should Be Down On Coach Pullen Cause I Think He Did A Wonderful Job This Year.. Theres Gonna BE A Lot Of What If's And Coulda Shoulda... But In This Game The Boys Played With Everything They Had And The Coach Coached With Everything He Had And It Didn't Come Out The Way The Tigers Wanted It.... People Will Say If Jesse Was Playing It Would HAve Been Differnt.. It Might Have But Again It Might Not HAve.. The One Post Said They Shouldn't HAve Went For It At Mid Field With 3 Mins To Go And It 4th And One... Why Not.. It You Make That 1 Yard You Can Almost Run The Clock Out And End The Game If You Punt You Take A Chance On A long Run Back Or Alot Of Things.. I THink The Coach Did The Right Thing.. LIke I Said The Tigers Lost One Game To A Very Good Team. We Are Very Proud Of You Tigers Hold You Heads High.... TIGER PRIDE LIVES FOREVER !!!!!

Ok I'm Jesse Hayes Dad... First What TigersFan Said Is True It Is A Team.. And I Believe They Can Win Without Jesse They Have ALOT Of Talent On This Team... True They Will Miss Jesse This Game But If They Win Jesse Hopes To Be Back Next Week.. He Pulled The Ligaments In His Ankle Or However You Spell Them..LOL....Jesse Really Hurt His Ankle Back In Week 4 I Think It Was And Hasn't Been 100% Since And They Still Won Against Some Good Teams... I Believe Jake.... David.....Ryan...Brandon...Randal....And The O Line Will Still Be A Force... Jesse Has Always Said And I Say... If You Have A Good Line Anyone Can Play Running Back.. And The Tigers Have A Great O Line... I Would Say Waverly's #24 Jesse Hayes... 1396 Yards 15 TDs And Really Only Did This In 7 Games Because Of Injury He Didn't Play At All In 1 Game And There Where About 3 Games He Didn't Play But Ahalf Agame.. He Has Speed And Power And Hasn't Had To Show It Much This Year But Also Has Moves.. Reads His Blocks Good And Is A Good Blocker And Once He Gets To To Outside He Is Gone. HAs Ran A 4.39 40 But Runs A Constant 4.42 40

Jesse Hayes....20 Carries 248 Yards 2 TDs Aaron Cotheran... 32 Carries 94 Yards 1 TD If Jesse Did Offically Had 3 More Yards He Would Break The School Record Soooo We Have Our Fingers Crossed... Jesse Hayes is a good running back. He has three games under 100 yards because the coach did not run him. Another reason is, he did not play a game because his coach decided it would be best to save him for the upcoming game. He would be right around cothran or ahead if it were not for his coach making stupid decisions. ENOUGH SAID!

Jesse Can Read His Blocks And Done So Very Well This Year...AS For Breaking Tackles.. Talk To The Teams That Have Played Him And Ask How Hard It Is To Bring Him Down...As For His Stats... One Of The Games Wasn't Reported Add Another 100 Yards To His Stats...Also He Has Only Played In About 11 Quarters In 4 Games Cause The Tigers Have Been Taking Their Starters Out At Half Time Or Half Way In The 3rd IN The First 3 Games... Sooo Jesse Has Right At 700 Yards For The Year Now Take Cothrans 200+ Yard Game Away In Week 0 And Whos In Front???
