who was lincoln county's pitcher in game one the other night?

i dont see LC being a contender for a state title unless the rest of the state is very weak. they should improve over last year, but not that much

lincoln county's 1990 state championship team. kelly holcomb at quarterback, rod buchannon at tailback(had well over 2000 yards in the 15 games), several very good receivers, and a huge offensive line.

lincoln county has lost another good player i heard. one of their best athlete had gotten behind on his work and just quit school. anyone know about this? as far as beating them, gang up on the run. qb can run and they have a good young running back also. qb can throw it a mile but couldnt hit the broad side of a barn.

Dakota(?) Gardner lincoln county. tough kid. a warrior on the hill. a throwback to the old style pitchers, he always wants the ball in his hands, he'd pitch everyday if you'd let him.

I heard that the superintendent met with a coach last night to talk about the job as if it were going to be offer to the coach last night. Does anyone know anything about this?
