Yes it seems as of this year that this rivalry has gotten out of hand. Authorities from both sides should try to end whatever stupid actions happened. It saddens me that something as fun as the game of football as come to a group of people going to a rivals town with baseball bats and having an all out brawl over one of the best games around. Or for whatever happened at the stadium after or during the game on friday. I never thought I would say this but, I am just glad that I am not involved with it anymore. And it seems to be people that dont have anything to do with either program. Just the stupid actions of people with nothing better to do then act like idiots. Keep on Keepin On.

I dont usually say much on here, but i felt the need to respond to a few things. The fact that the people from Manchester are complaining about the Tullahoma attitudes is not because they are sore losers. It is mainly because Tullahoma not as a whoe but as a majority are full of pompous who think they are better then everyone else. But make sure you understand I am not talking about all of T-town residents or atheletes because I am not, not all of them are. And also just because I am a CC Alum doesnt make a difference because I have many friends from T-town and anyone with any intelligence can tell that the above statements are true. And another thing to say that two teams hate each other is a little of an overstatement. You can be rivals and not hate each other I played for CC and now i play in college and we have rivals here too but that doesnt mean that we dislike the other teams any more then we dislike any team we play. It just means that if you win that particular game it means more and you come away with more of a self satisfaction, but also if you lose the game it can feel like the end of the world. Ok. Now these statements are ludacris and have no fact basis behind them about CC. The CC football team is not given large amounts of money by any means. Throughout my tenure at CC I did countless fundraisers and no telling how much money we raised. We do have some people that donate but the amount given is far below the amount to build a stadium. So please think about what you say because all you do is make yourself sound simple minded and dumb. Ok. I appreciate your enthusiasm about whether or not the game was fair, but no matter how many cheap shots or how dirty T-town played it shouldnt matter if CC brought there A game. I played for CC so i know that CCdoesnt always play the cleanest either but they are far from some of the opponents that i faced including Tullahoma. They have a really good team when they allow thereselves to be. It is just that CC has never been able to live up to expectations that they should have for themselves. All I really want to say is that all of this bickering from both sides makes all of us including past, present, and future members of these teams just make us look ignorant. It is ok to have rivals and to mouth off to some extent because that is part of the game. Without these factors playing would not be as fun as it is. It would still be fun dont get me wrong it would just take away some of the excitement in the game. But all of these posts and threads about who is better then who and all this senseless bickering is just moronic. It all boils down to self constraint. If you play for the teams then have at it be cocky expect to win.......but most of all JUST HAVE FUN. Its a game. Enjoy it while you can. And for those of you that dont have anything to do with these teams or arent affiliated with this particular game in any constructive way just shut up. Thanks sgcwjm. I am a member of the 6th man. I am not one of the 4 that started it, but i am a friend of all of them. Even though we have been repremanded for "being to loud" or as we like to say having too much school spirit we are still relentless. Even though the teams arent doing too great right now we are still extremely proud to be Red Raiders. I play for the football team and I support all athletics from our school, because without the fans that supported us we wouldnt have been able to get as far as we did this year. To Fanaticfor Football. The score of the CC and Dalton scrimmage was that CC beat them 3-2. CC showed that it wasnt a fluke with Soddy on this Wednesday. They showed up fired up and ready to rumble. To roughly qoute Daltons coach "CC's Defensive line was one of the best he has seen in years, they fired off quick, and dominated the blocks attempted on them." He proceeded to congradulate CC and wish them the best of luck this season.

I agree with gdrake. Soddy Daisy better have had 10 starters out because Coffee County handed then their butts on last saturday. But I also beleive that even with their 10 players in there Coffee County would have given them a hard time. If not still beaten them

< I agree whole heartedly with raider. Except I am not sure about the prediction of the score. I know that the Raiders have worked very hard ,and if they don't shoot themselves in the foot it will be a pretty good game. All the Raiders have to do is concentrate and play like they know how to.
