Reed Stinson for David Lipscomb. no one knows about this kid but from what ive seen he has the purest shot that ive ever seen in high school basketball. he puts josh goodwin to shame. hes got a great work ethic and hes nothin but hustle. he will greatly help lipscomb this year w/ both his offense and his d. except for maybe memphis, this kid could start for anyone in the state. hes a 6'2" guard that can shoot the lights out of the ball. i expect him to really turn heads this year.

I have to say Lipscomb's defense is SOLID! when you play a team like Springfield who might not be Great but they are good and you have 5, yes 5 turnovers....2 fumbles(one on the one) and 3 INT and you come out of there with a win you know your D is doin something right. if the offense comes together some games will be embarassing. Good Luck to DLH the rest of the time and i really hope lipscomb and goodpasture win out cause im sick of the trash talk from GHS people and im not saying anything for the rest of the year but i would love to see the rematch. gomab2 Im just wondering how you leave Josh Stephen out of the best players in Nashville. i could see state but he has some of the best talent in the post that ive seen around. i agree with alot of your players but i think someone who got district 8AA MVP in a loaded district should get mentioned at least.

well i believe the school i go to has great school spirit. but its kinda hard to have a ton after the school tells you you cant paint you chest for the game. grant it i am at a private school but whats wrong w/ a lil school spirit? if its something specific thats wrong tell us dont jus ban us from doin it w/ no reason. ok sorry but i would like to hear some reactions especially from some parents maybe? thanx!

tim you need to check yourself. first off you cant sit there and tell me GHS outplayed DL. yes they won the game but that doesnt mean they are the better team. im not sayin lipscomb is either but you rambling on about how GHS is so much better than DL is a lie. also moore co and marshall co are a wee bit different. thats like say GHS scrimmaged a weak 1a program too Ezell. also im jus fathomed at your knowledge of lipscombs strength of schedule. id make more research before you go off again! Brent McPherson is not known now but by the end of the year i hope everyone sees how good he is. he can handle and pass and can shoot from deep, mayb his only flaw is D but w/ Roller on him he will get better

I hate to put this but first off its STEPHEN not Stevens. sorry, anyways i agree w/ all of you who put him as a top player because you have to remember he was the leading scorer on a team w/ Flatt last year and district player of the year in a distict w/ harriford, ferguson, and brewer, also anyone else from MLK or Hume Fogg. even though his numbers will go down his teammates numbers will go up especially the way he passes. Also MAD props to Harriford he can flat out play. its funny seein them develope into the players they are now from back in the day in the bellevue league. right now anyone could break out and have an outstanding year. good luck to all

I was just wondering what are some other good one two punches in the backfield around the state. I don't know about many but from what I have seen the combination of David Lipscomb's Anton Santiago and Cutler Robertson are one of the best just because of Santiago's power and brute strength and then you have Robertson's speed running past you makes it very difficult. Also Stinson has good speed so Lipscomb has a very balanced backfield. I would love to hear anyone elses thoughts.
