  1. I'll say it right now....congrats to BA for having such a young and talented squad...but if FRHS beat you on your home floor for regions that tells me those young kids will pay during states as well....BA needs help to win...FRHS can and will beat BA if they meet again. I think there is much more talent out there that we both must compete against.....GO IRISH...I'm thinking FRHS advance to semis at worst....TITLE within reach....
  2. Hunbilly....FRHS rocks...Harding folks seem to be very proud as well...They are basically very cool and very spirited...cut them slack...and go IRISH...PS....their girls v-ball team beat ours to oust us out of the state tourney....after we UPSET harpeth hall....Harding Academy is a justifiably good school.
  3. I've always loved your user name B-Ark...FRHS girl's deserve sooooooooooooooooo much credit.....I wish someone could please elaborate about the contest....I will most always concede that HH is awesome...but I went to FRHS and they have had some great victories over HH....if anyone can discuss the game, please do and thank you.....Archie, Pilkerton, Hampel, Mullins...wether you were reared Ensworth or Christ the King....stay together and go for state....and I mean go for it....you girl's are the best kept secret in Nashville....Go FATHER RYAN GIRLS!!!!!!
  4. long time no talk, but is this Lausanne as good as they appear?....I've kept up with Tn. athletics for years and have not heard of them. Thanks and best wishes...FRHS RULES
  5. ....first of all congrats to FATHER RYAN GIRL'S BASKETBALL TEAM....you deserve A LOT of credit for stepping up when you did.....I can not say enough except that I will hopefully see you at DL next weekend....and that I WILL qualify for the Boston Marathon when I run the Music City....using your team as a part of my inspiration....GO FRHS....Everyone said you would lose to HH (including the USN coach)....He said...for the last few years HH has been more talented than FRHS, yet the Irish have won.....He predicted HH to win the region title this year...GO IRISH [Edited by frhsrules on 2-28-03 11:13P] [Edited by frhsrules on 2-28-03 11:29P] [Edited by frhsrules on 3-1-03 12:27A]
  6. good luck in regions!!!!!!!!! [Edited by frhsrules on 2-26-03 12:38A] Beat Harpeth Hall!!!!!! [Edited by frhsrules on 2-26-03 2:41A]
  7. I was invited to see a great player from Free Will Baptist Bible College do his thing against a very talented Kentucky Christian team at a site just off West End. I was weakened to get a frothy cold one before traveling to Franklin Road to see if the Lady Irish got the win...I'm pretty sure it was two MBA boys who informed me of the HH win. Congrats to HH (Nancy Sisk) for your fine victory. I hope Kristen Archie and the rest of the Ryan girls can recover.....my biggest worry is FRHS not advancing in states because of insecurity. Even if they lose to HH in regions they can advance and have hope. FRHS needs HUMILITY right now because Harpeth Hall is a VERY GOOD to borderline EXCELLENT girl's high school basketball team. FRHS needs to realize they had a GREAT shot of winning both games.....You could have won both, stay together and live for the next day....and most important...show respect to your opponents if you lose.....if you can not handle this...don't lose again!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Honeybear spankage coming at ya'......hope you kick --- ...that's right, three little lines mean booty...NOT!!!!...FRHS #1....actually, I really think you girls can win it all...no offense and all
  9. I watched the "high scool game of the week (football)", covered by Blake and Pat when Goodman was a junior against FRHS at MBA. I thought Goodman was as bad a ------ as I had seen for a while. I could not believe he did not DOMINATE this year in F-Ball. Then I heard someone say he was fat for wresteling....I saw him beat Jes in the first match at MBA.....He looked fat....BUT BUT BUT very strong and agile....I have not seen him wrestle since then but was glad to hear Jes won.......I think Jes wanted it more all along....I believe if Blake really wanted it...he could have hurt his opponents.....GO JES ......TAKE YOUR 4.0 and have a blast in college. Blake....stay cool with yourself, you are a superman by strength and looks....stay away from the pressure of others and give praise to yourself and your family.....GO IRISH
  10. Uh...Best wishes to you but we just won the state title.... a little attitude for us please...GO IRISH
  11. FATHER RYAN RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Mc who??? MBA...you're a football school now...no more wins in the "lesser" sports. Oh, I forgot...your wresteling coach is awesome...GO IRISH
  12. I think Father Ryan versus Harpeth Hall is a "humble" yet outstanding example of "best rival". Harpeth Hall represents the finest and most athletic students in Nashville. Father Ryan represents a belief in faith and spirit along with solid academics and athletics. Harpeth Hall continues to become a very talented B-ball team....FRHS has been doing this for a while. In the fine city of Nashville, Harpeth Hall is considered THE ELITE school for girls...FRHS's girl athelete's usually become leaders in their fields of academic study in college....I truly believe that FRHS girls deep down admire Harpeth Hall....I think there might be a few incredible honeybears that might reciprocate those feelings. I know there are many fine rivals in the state of Tennessee, but I would love to take you to a FRHS vs. HH game...there is definately some heat. [Edited by frhsrules on 2-15-03 10:12P]
  13. FRHS may not only lose to HH next Friday, they may lose by 20-30. I don't care if you win or lose you see FRHS...I love you...but HH is in a SPANKAGE mode....GO IRISH
  14. The AP rankings are of course a joke. The webb school is a fine competitive program (I know first hand growing up in K-town till 7th grade), but their girl's team would get SPANKED by the aforementioned "TOP 4". I have no idea why anyone would vote Webb in front of FRHS....coach T is not from middle Tn. and when he got called out to do a poll for D2 he did'nt have Webb mentioned (and I'm assuming all he did was look at the scores of the schools being mentioned) So let's move on....Brownhut...your vocab is almost as impressive as your beloved institution. I've got plenty of edge left and I'll need it as FRHS will play Harpeth Hall at least 2 more times before we face one of those "Memphis" teams in sectionals. We'll see what's up brownhut...and I'll see your beautiful city for the second time in so many years in the first week of may when I race the "Run a Mile for a Child" race...look forward to finally breaking the 5 minute mark...hope to do 4:30....GO IRISH...(the race is may 4th or 5th I think)
  15. your rankings while considering all your adversity when judging is right on target. HH's win over Riverdale is their "wildcard"...they should be ranked 1 for that. ECS has done very well, and they spanked Ryan (no comment) earlier this season. The Irish have had a very fine season although they dropped one to your #1 HH in Double OT....and got spanked in Memphis to mighty mighty ECS. Briarcrest is just that....a very fine program, up or down. Everyone seems to think ECS and HH play for it all....
  16. harding's v-ball team more than rocked....thank God you are like "average" in b-ball...just a shout out to you HA fans....you really got my respect...best wishes, GO IRISH
  17. hey brownhut, first of all it is nice to communicate with u. I hope you are doing very well and somehow can exist through this ice age. Secondly...I remembered just recently that there were two "hutch" girls I met where I work in Nashvegas (besides all the ones I met (and loved..ie..JILL SARTELL) while going to UTK)....one is named Robin Formanek (who was running for Ms. Shelby Teen), her and her mother were really nice and I really wish them the best....if you know this girl please let her know the waiter from green hills said "sup" and that I hope she is doing better than the Grizzlies...uh, I think I can relay those sentiments to you Brownhut....best wishes, GO IRISH [Edited by frhsrules on 2-9-03 12:33A]
  18. Although I did not know her, my prayers and sentiments to the friends and family of Shalanda Morton, may God bless you all. Go in peace as she would want you to do.
  19. ECS....they seem to be steamrolling openents more often than Briarcrest....and now they play a rival at home...ECS
  20. I saw some of the game vs. Ryan at BGA...yeah, BGA has a chance, but they will have to get out of their heads that they are at a disadvantage being on the road....my prediction is FRHS 15-25 spread. BGA is a fine team, I don't see it in the cards for them in this one.
  21. In response to Pilkerton....first of all props to the City paper's article on her brother and herself....that was nice. Pilkerton as far as I know does not have the "roaming" duties or perhaps humbly the capacity of those duties as does Archie. Yeah, I'm a loser, I've only seen Pilk play once and she is tough as nails. She is "old school basketball" which is good for FRHS. FUNDAMENTALS AND TOUGHNESS....uh, can you say Tish? Anyhoo, I'm sure "the powers that be" are at least considering her as they should. I know however, both her and Kristen and Kristen Hampel and Ann Mullins would hand the MVP award to EVEN the entire school of THE HARPETH HALL, BRIARCREST OR ECS in trade for the title. I'ts not easy winning the "whole nine yards" that's why we play the game....I'll take Archie for D2 "Miss" and FRHS for the title....best wishes to all....GO IRISH
  22. I think I saw N Sisk dance last week when I was trying to finish a very cold run at HH's track....if it was awesome Nancy that was indeed dancing, she was throwing down. I was just simply trying to finish like my 30th lap and some girl is dancing like an old MC Hammer video girl...I'm pretty sure it was Nancy.....I hope your doing well Nancy Sisk...I know ya'(kind of) and I know you are a nice girl...kick bootay in school!!!!!GO LADY VOLS [Edited by frhsrules on 2-4-03 4:09A]
  23. Hey BA...I realize you have done very well thus far, but is it not true the region champion is the #1 seed going to sectionals????....if this is the case, your eagle would have to advance to the region title game and (probably) play Ryan again. From what I've heard, FRHS has good potential to beat BA if they play decent...Just wanted to say hello to you since you had you eagles flying so high.
  24. HH will probably not win that award because their team distributes their offense amongst many players. They have won many games using this method and MUCH credit should go to their coach. Just because you have talent does not mean you will win, especially the way the Honeybears have won this season. As far as Ms. Nancy Sisk....I only saw her play once (well, sort of)....She is a winner and easily qualifies for such an honor....My instinct say's Archie from FRHS wins in a deserving fashion. I think the green from HH and the purple from FRHS will entertain Murfreesboro once again.....once again, best wishes to west Tn., east Tn., and any other team and girl that is not desevedly being mentioned......Ms. basketball to Archie....State champ to FRHS or HH....West Tn. is awesome, I'm thinking MIDDLE TENNESSEE rocks too!!!!
