mr tcross, hey buddy simmer down there, u seem to have a chip on your shoulder about dyer co. now i was asking a simple question and i complimented giles co. i did not run them in the dirt. now, as for your info on dyer county, we are currnetly 2-0 with wins over greenfield(#1-A) and brighton. we lost a whole lot last year in brian fisk, montrelle crittendon, matt benjamin and dustin byrd. and just so you know our preseason rank is 16 not 100. now dog someone else before you ruin giles county fans reputation again. there has been posts on about dyer county also fellar, so go get you some reading glasses and pay attention.

i hope these teams are some of the best their state has to offer. if so that will only make giles co that much stronger in their return trip to the boro. good luck guys!

as for who will beat trenton, one answer= gibson county! for jackson county, i think you folks are gettin a lil bit out of hand there fellas. no doubt about it, yall will kill dyer county, dont remind me how bad it is gonna be cause i know. but the question i assume on this thread was about the teams on trenton peabody's schedule and the teams they may face in the tourneys. yall are doubleA trenton is single A. i do want to take the oooportunity to congratulate yall jackson county fans and players on the recent upset of shelbyville but just keep in mind this is just the beginning of a long season and a lot can happen to keep you folks from winning that 5th title. good luck!

you absolutely spoke the truth there. teams and fans may run that mouth about greenfield but they sure wont go into a game without a fight. this is not the first time i have watched greenfield at all. i saw them many times when trey pearson was at south fulton and many other times. this also isnt the first time dyer co has played them recently either.

wescharge u killin me, looks like we gonna be 1-4 after 5 games. i say our margain of loss will be around 50 for both games this weekend. if we dont get some scorers it will be like this dyer co 18, shelbyville 80 dyer co 27, jackson co 71

the girls made one heck of a run before finally losin by like 13, those brighton girls finished 24-6 last year and will be tough again this year. i dont know of a team in the state with a schedule as tough as dyer co's the first five games.not sure what the final score was.

yall come on over to west end of west tn and play and we will see how good yall are. play ripley,jack southside, dyer co, westview, greenfield, jcm, northside, trenton peabody, then yall will have some braggin rights. you cant get no where with a schedule like that when u play gleason, big sandy and bruceton. dont get me wrong i like ben reed and jarrod bain, they deserve to win and hope they make it somewhere thsi year. just this is why when regionals come its all over with.

the worst thing is to ranked # 1 at the start of the season. one thing for sure is that greenfield will be ready when its tourney time.

dyer county improves to 2-0 with a 54-38 victory over brighton. this choctaw team is much more defensive minded than the teams in the past.

antonio mitchell (dyer co) very good shooter but anyone who thinks greenfield is overrated is gonna learn the hard way. greenfield took dyer co to the wire no doubt. im sure someone is gonna say dyer county is way overrated too now. but folks lets get real, dyer county has won 34 of its last 35 at home. only a good team can come in to the teepee like greenfield did and nearly take it away from us. good luck to greenfield in the future games except one that is,lol.

only time will tell chargerman, one thing is for sure, u get better by playing against better teams like shelbyville and jackson co. hopefully it will prepare them for the tough district schedule.

i have been impressed with the so called sportsmanship on this thread except the topic starter. the game was a good game and both teams played extremely hard and both were in the position to win. both teams benefited from this game no doubt. cant wait for the rematch at greenfield, should be another nail biter.

aint no way we are gonna win 3 and 4 for sure. but for all you 13AA folks the lady choctaws should be very well in the mix of things. their offense aint the best in the world but the defense looked better tonite than i had seen in a while. they were alot better looking than i had expected but who knows we may not win another game. lol
