  1. Better hope you're in good with the Man. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  2. Looks like it is gonna be a good cold night for football. Cant wait to take it to McGavock one las time!!!
  3. I'm never one to overlook a team, and I'm not overlooking McGavock, but do the Raiders have a dog in this fight? With all the controversy going on in their football program right now, how fired up will they really be for this game?
  4. So any takers on an over under of 20 people showing up on the McGavock home side Thursday night? I'll take the under /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  5. The one game that I am torn on is the Hendersonville Hunters Lane game. Of course, I am pulling for HL, but Hendersonville really played well against Gallatin. That is the most pivitol of all the matchups in these two regions. Brentwood and Gallatin both have no excuse to lose their respective matchups, and I really think that Franklin will knock off Centennial.
  6. Region 6-5A Playoff Possibilities: -Ravenwood is Fourth -If Brentwood wins and Franklin wins, Brentwood is first, Franklin is second, and Centennial is third. -If Brentwood wins and Centennial wins, Brentwood is first, Centennial is second, and Franklin is third. -If Clarksville NE wins and Franklin wins, Franklin is first, Brentwood is second, and Centennial is third. -If Clarksville NE wins and Centennial wins, Centennial is first, Brentwood is second, and Franklin is third.
  7. Here is how I have the possibilities figured in Region 5-5A: -Antioch is Fourth -If Gallatin wins and Hunters Lane wins, Gallatin is first, Hunters Lane is Second, and Hendersonville is third. -If Gallatin wins and Hendersonville wins, Hendersonville is first, Gallatin is second, and Hunters Lane is third. -If McGavock wins and Hunters Lane wins, Hunters Lane is First, Hendersonville is second, and Gallatin is third. -If McGavock wins and Hendersonville wins Hendersonville is first, Gallatin is second, and Hunters Lane is third.
  8. Gallatin has to come into this game knowing that it means something. In fact, without winning this one, there is no possibility that the Wave can win the region. Gallatin must play 4 quarters of football. One half of lights out ball is not good enough. Can't wait to make the FINAL trek out to McGavock and watch the Wave take on the Raiders
  9. What an unbelievable game. If the H-ville team from tonight faces the HL team from last week, H-ville wins. This really makes things hairy in the 5-5A playoff picture. The only sure thing is that Antioch is 4th. Beyond that, its all still up for grabs.
  10. I like a guy from another school that can come into another teams thread and make relevant comments with good sportsmanship, Maybe you should take a lesson goldendome. Can't wait for the game tonight! Looks like the rain is going to get outta here just in time. Its gonna be a great one!
  11. Geez, man. Where did this come from on the Gallatin vs. Hendersonville thread??? Go drive your Lexus down Mallory Lane and we"ll talk in a couple more weeks.
  12. Good to see you again Warrior09, I thought you vanished into thin air after last week /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  13. Agreed! I am so sick of all the Metro crap that we've had to put up with all these years. I'm sure you guys are too. These two teams are and always have been the class of Region 5-5A and nothing makes me more happy than to see those Region standings just like they are. Unfortunatly for the Commandos, it will be shortlived, because the Wave will stand alone at the top after Friday!!!!
  14. Mondo is exactly right, and those two "vacated wins" could really throw a wrench into things in the next couple of weeks depending on the outcome of the week 9 and 10 games in region 5-5A.
  15. There would be hype around this game even if both teams were winless. Thats just the type of rivalry that Gallatin Hendersonville is. The fact that these are the only two teams undefeated in the region makes it all the more exciting. This is going to be a great game and most likely will determine the Region 5-5A champion! Let the fun begin!!!
  16. Finally, Week 8 is here and it is safe (but confusing) to start talking playoffs. As of now, Hillwood is the only team eliminated from playoff contention with 2 games left to play. With that said, McGavock, Overton, and Glencliff all need to pull some upsets and get help to get in. Antioch looks to have the number 4 spot locked up, with the easiest schedule to go with Hillwood and Glencliff. If the Bears win out, they are #4 no questions asked. The top three spots are still up for grabs between Gallatin, Hendersonville, and Hunters Lane, but the Warriors are at the greatest disadvantage with 1 region loss to Gallatin. Of the top 3 HL could win out and still not get the top spot. If either Gallatin or H-ville were to win out, then they would have the #1 spot with the other most likely being the #2.
  17. The Hunters Lane vs Hillwood game that was played last Thurs. was not listed as a region game in the schedule. Can you please correct this for accurate region standings in the team home feature? Thank you in advance and for all you do here on this website.
  18. I'd like to start by saying that this is possibly the best Gallatin team that I've seen under the Lassiter regime to date. There is raw talent and for the first time, it is getting used to its full potential. Hats off to the play calling! To my good friend, Warrior09, it must be tough to accept a 37 spot hung on your unbeatable defense. Maybe you should have said no one but Cody Matthews, Sanchez Holder and the rest of Wave offense can pound away at will on us, LOL. Seriously, I hope you guys do well from here on. Do some damage for us in the first round of the playoffs. Alright Wave, enjoy the victory, but be ready for the Commandos next week, for the Region 5-5A crown!!!
  19. I can't help but agree with Gwave. I have heard so much about this HLHS D, in fact, one said in another thread that the Warrior D is possibly the "best you'll see in ur football watchin life" I'm sorry, but stellar defenses don't give up 12.5 ppg and allow 20 or more 3 times a year. Granted, those aren't terrible numbers, they certainly aren't "best i've ever seen". On a side note, Gallatin is scoring 32.14 points per game and allowing 15.....
  20. This will be a huge measuring stick game for both of these teams tomorrow night. HLs "awsome" D will be put to the test with a very capable Gallatin offense, and vise versa. If you dont have a game to watch or your team is on a bye week, I'd say it would be worth your while to make the trip out to the Wave yard Friday night and see the Green Wave take on the Hunters Lane Warriors.
  21. Thems fightin' words, Squosh. There's nothing like a little trash talk to to stur up some hype around an already huge game! Hopefully, we can keep the Warriors from stomping and spitting on our G this year. The Terrell Owens Eagle swoop on Dallas' star a few years back comes to mind /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  22. I see this one being seperated by 10 points or less. If Gallatin's D plays like it did in the second half of the Overton game last week, the Wave will come away with the W. Otherwise, it might be a disappointing night. Should be a great one!
  23. I agree, Gallatin fans need to show up and support the Wave in this ever important region matchup. It is great to hear that Matthews should be ok, and lets hope he can go this week. I was really wanting to hear more out of the HL faithful on this thread???
  24. Gallatin's QB Cody Matthews left the Overton game with an appearant concussion and did not return, no update on his condition, but he was walking and talking fine. Coach Lassiter said in the tennessean that Matthews was alert but had some short term memory loss. Hunters Lane could really pose a problem for Gallatins D due to their incredible speed. This should be an all around great matchup.
