well it's not me, its for a friend. I was just wondering b/c her team is not good at all, so she didn't even try out. She wants to go to a public school in the same county, and play w/o sitting out. although she will still come and if she has to sit out then just play districts and regions. sicne her season ended feb21 and the other school didn't start districts till feb24 she would be eligible then. So, what exactly do u think she could possibly do? Thanks for the info. i will research this!!!

I have a question, if anyone can help SOON it would be great! If someone played basketball at private school but didn't try-out their senior year or do spring practice, can they leave that private school and transfer to a public school in that same county without sitting out a year? Postup, sorry about the confusion on my part, I guess I misread the part of your post. SO, yea for the most part we do see eye to eye, and am glad we do. The Taurasi thing, yea I watched her play in the NCCA tournament and no matter what defense was put on her, she would make a play and score. Just as Karper will do when she tries for it. I will respect your opinion freestyle even though I have to disagree. I just feel that the girls will do better with Francis, even though they do not think so anyways. But I am sure he will get the position, just b/c certain faculty like him better.LOL.... I just think that if anyone wanted this years team to do great things again, then they definitely need to look at her. I do know that the job position is suppose to be announced in the middle of this upcoming week. So, I guess we will just have to wait and find out who gets it. Postup, I will agree on most everything that you mentioned except for these. Karper doesn't care for just herself, b/c if she did then why is she still at Eagleville???? Which by the way she is not leavng anytime soon... Okay yea there are several that talk about Sarah behind her back, but they are just jealous b/c she got to start. Though there is one who is her same age that if she doesn't shape up she could not be playing at all next year. Yea Karper can do it all, just Taurasi for UCONN can, but just like Geno Auriema said: "I have Taurasi and you don't". I have to say the same for Eagleville: "We have Karper and you don't".. And to me if a college is looking for someone like Karper, they will know where to find her. For when you ask a b-ball player in rutherford co., "Who is Sarah Karper?" So if you were at a school, and people started telling you that your team was not going to be any good, the administration at your school felt the same way. Just b/c some seniors left. Where is your faith in your team, b/c if you don't faith that yuo can step up and show the younger girls how easy it is to step up and score. Then you will not make it at any school, b/c before you can lead you must follow.... With Sarah staying at Eagleville, she will show and help nurture the younger girls playing abilities, Karper will be a great asset to whoever the new coach is. Sarah knows what it takes to get to the top, and I feel that she will help lead this young team to another year filled with suprises. For I have talked to Karper and all the returning players, I told them: Have faith, work hard, never give up, and you will be rewarded. I would have to disagree with yuo freestyle, on who should get the girls coaching job. I think that Coach Kim Francis would definitely be the better candidate ove coach Chris Lynch. Francis has her masters, she knows what she is talking about when it comes to b-ball. She was only an All-American, I mean I guess that means something, right? I can not personally say that I have been coached by Coach Francis, but from just playing pick up games with her. I can tell that she is what the high school girls need. Lynch on the other hand, I have had him as a coach and I can not say that I was pleased at all playing for him. He was unorganized, felt as if he didn't care, and didn't have a personal relationship with the team like he should have. So, if I were to pick who should be the next coach of the 2004-? Eagleville High School Girls B-ball team should be. Then I would pick Coach Kim Francis, all the way...

You have to understand that yes she took it pretty hard when she found out about Coach Mac, and with the seniors leaving. But I promise you that she will not be leaving Eagleville anytime soon, at least on her own that is. Okay Sarah and I are best friends and we have been talking about this a lot lately. She is concerned about the team next year, but has faith that they can be just as good as anyone else. Besides I look for Eagleville to be a team that will suprise everyone again, I mean no one ever gives them any credit nor any faith. Which is what Sarah and the other girls on the team have, along with determination. But as far as Karper leaving EHS, don't look forward to it happening any time soon. You can trust me on this one, and personally she just wants a good coach someone like Lynch or Francis to step up since she is familiar with their coaching style. What does everyone think about the Eagles next year? Will they be good enough to win back 2 back district titles? Will they win a single game? Honestly Iam not sure how next season is goin to be.. I would like to hear some opinions on next years team. So what if they lost a lot of seniors it is all about the upcoming players.
