Tunna3, the only part that is true in your post is the part were you say he has tallent. In the regular season game last year he played qb and safety and there was no such play. In the playoff game he did not play defense at all. If he does get burnt it won't be in a foot race. by the way you are pretty good your self.

I have heard that a couple of schools have been looking at him. Hope to see him go somewhere. He has missed a few games because of a spranged ankle. If the stats were correct at prepextra he would be in about 3rd recieving in all classes and first in double A. I know he is the best receiver I have seen play over my years of watching highschool ball.

Tank pretty much said it all on Sweetwater but I figured I would add a little. Well I know its a little early to be making predictions but I would not be so quick in giving Alcoa the region so fast. Sweetwater only lost five senoirs from last years team. And will have around 18 for this year. In last years Sweetwater and Alcoa playoff game Sweetwater ran the ball at will on Alcoa only to get out of control with turnovers near the end. As far as best running back anyone that has watched Dustin Latham play would worry me if they picked anyone but him as the best in the region. Alcoa did not have a chance at stopping him in last years playoff game. And at receivers I would doubt if anyone in the region can cover Jeffery Moore. Like Tank said he had to play way to many positions last year. But with Sam Mason working hard at qb finding an open Jeffery Moore should be an easy task for him. And at linebacker they have Malachi who has a gift for finding the ball and making behind the line tackles. You will hear alot about him this year. The game to watch will be Sweetwater and Alcoa.(season and playoff)

Tank was you awake down on the sidelines? The one turn over in the fourth was the one that hurt. The others were from being behind trying to make something happen. The fact is Alcoa done the same thing to us tonight that they done in the season. They threw in the flat and we made no adjustments to prevent it. Heck one time there was not even a safety in the middle and that was 6 points. Alcoa found our week spot and kept on it and we did nothing to stop it. How many times did the reciever out run our dbs. Everytime they got in the open while Moore watched them run by from the sidelines. I mean heck man that was the playoffs you have to use whoever it takes to stop them and the coaches did not do that. There reciever burnt our secondary over and over again. Just be glad they dropped alot of passes.

I agree with catfan 100%. That was a real shame. If I was a parent of Moore I would move to another town were the coaches would know how to use him.

Well I have not posted in a while but I have to post on this one. It seems alot of people are not giving Sweetwater much of a chance. Most of the people on here that are picking gp have not even seen them play. Well I have not either but I do know they play a weak schedule. Sweetwater has beat them the last two years and they were three A. So it can be done. I still believe that sweetwater has the best skill players in this region. Its not like they have been blown out in the games they have lost. They have lost on turnovers. They are big up front and when they block the way they are are able to the run will work. The key to Sweetwater winning this game is to hold on to the ball. And for the senoirs to play Sweetwater football. In Highschool football your playmakers have to touch the ball. If Sweetwater will spread the ball around and hold on to it they can win this game. They also need Moore in as db with his speed to stop the big play threat gp has. Sweetwater wins by 6

to wagglert, I heard the comment made by coach r. In his defense his team just lost to rockwood and he was trying to tell them that there season was not over. Coach rr has given all teams in the region credit. There was more people than him that thought that. Sweetwater has been beat on mistakes and if they play mistake free ball they could beat os.

Hey Tank I just read Fridays paper and in your article you picked Wartburg but at the bottom of the page were you all make picks you picked SW. Which is it you can't pick both.

Hy wartburggenius, I was at the game. The chiefs had so many flags because they could not do anything against Sw. They were mad and fustrated. And as far as the offense I thank at least six backs ran the ball with Jeffery Moore leading the way. You sound more like a mad chief than a wartburg genius. If you are getting 7 to 8 yards a carry you do not have to throw. Look at the stats it was a win for Sw. And if you are a wartburg fan what was you doing in madisonville watching SW????? Like I said you sound like a mad chief fan or player. You said all we did was run Jam. There was two other people with more yards. We spread the ball around so much they did not have a clue were it was going. Say what you want to say about the defense they held the chiefs to 13 points and had them so aff balance they could not even stay on sides. Well from what I have heard Wartburg is a one man team. Atleast he is the only player I ever hear about. And I thank OS held him to about 26 yards. So it sounds like you stop him and you stop the whole team. And as far as Sw goes if the line blocks like they are capable of doing there is no way Wartburg can stop Moore,Latham,Jam and then throw Blomstrom at them. Good luck cats.

Chief42 I have to dissagree with what you said about Jam being the reason for the win. Yeh he played another great game and was a big part of it. But believe me I have watched the cats play all year and that was the only game were the whole team played. So I would have to give that game to the whole team. Congrats cats. And as far as the refs go they let you all by with alot more than they called. Mostly on the drive in the fourth your line moved every time and got by with it. But its easy to make excuses when you loose to a team that you said all year long that you would kill. Yeh the chiefs have a good team and I wish you luck in the playoffs. After all you are a monroe county team. In my opinion the cats moved the ball on you all with ease. With our line blocking you had nothing to stop moore,latham and jam. Good luck in the playoffs. You better come more prepared than you was against SW. One other thing that bothered me was at half time the chiefs came over behind the visitor bleachers and sat around and talked. There was no coaching what so ever. No pep talks or nothing. Sounds like when the going got tough they quit on you. You could make a sure bet that there was some big time coaching going on with sw at the half. I also heard your coach say on the radio after your last win that he was not a bit worried about sw that you all would have know problems with sw. Sounds like he stuck his foot in his mouth. Hey Tank, I'm in a very good mood since SW beat the chiefs so I won't get on you to bad. But I got to let you know that man what a prediction you made in the paper on Friday(you blew it). But since you made that crazy prediction you fired SW up. So thanks for the help. But man that was bad. ha ha ha. But on a positive note keep up the good work I enjoy reading your stories. I said at the first of the year if Sw would play four quarters they could hang with anyone on thier schedule. So lets hear it for the county champs. Then they need to go play another four quarters at Wartburg and show them what SW pride is all about. The whole county seen what it was all about last night. If SW wants it they will beat Wartburg.
