  1. Well I dunno anything about the 2 teams.. I will be coming back to watch for little bit of first half but mainly to see friends and family. Heard both arent very good but atleast it should be a good game. BTW where is the game this year and 7:30 right?
  2. As far as you saying getting a (house) which was what MPG moved into and paying bills and just not living there. I think not there buddy, because lets see maybe I was over there quite a lot, also stayed all night a few times. So no the (House) was not empty and they did live there. So come up with something you know 100% and quit trying to dig to find something, nothing there.
  3. Gezzzz people stop being jealous of the past few seasons (not counting last year) that Coalfield had in football. Bunch of cry babies if you ask me... This is about Coach K last time I checked, not how you guys think Coalfield has recruited. Not only would a kid want to play football for a former NFL/UT player, but a proven winner, and also college connections. Would MPG have went anywhere for football if he would have stayed at Oakdale?? Probably not just because of their record and not in the public eye. Him and his family done what was best for him. Anyways how about get back to the topic of the forum
  4. Melton has a good night throwing and running around. Coalfield wins. Coalfield by 20. Coalfield comes off a bad loss, need to gain momentum going into play-offs. Sunbright kids just have it in the back of their head they cannot beat Coalfield. If Coalfield scores first, ball game over in first half. I predicted Coalfield to go about 6-5 this year, that Harriman win would have nearly made it 100%. But anything can happen in play-offs everyone is 0-0 and puts their pants on just like the other team. In 2003 season the #4 team in region 2A beat the #1 team in the state. I don't see 1A being as powerful this year as the past 5 years. Seems those privates are not wanting to take as many kids seeing how each kid counts for 1.5 in privates. Cant blame them I guess, who wants to play Alcoa 1-5A lol.
  5. Well, Coalfield might start clicking now. Noah will need a few games at QB to bring out his full ability as everyone would. Now he will need to step up and be a leader. He needs to get his head on straight and get the respect from his team mates, especially those 5 guys up front. If he can do that, Coalfield might end up 6-4 and maybe 7-5.
  6. Melton was at QB right? I heard he was, and heard Coach K ran the offense. This is just what I hear.... finally if this is true Coalfield has their players/coaches doing the right things. They put up a W, it does say W-by 1 point, just W thats all that matters.
  7. GLAD to see Coach calling some plays finally. I hope he is more creative than run right and run left then throw the ball on a bomb. Which I hope and know he will be. Can anyone give me the stats on Coalfield this year? total points JK, SA rush yards. Adams stats at QB. Noahs stats. Just like to see what they have done in 5 games, I havnt been to all so idk even close what they are.
  8. I dunno much about Grace, but Coalfield could be 3-2 as easily as they are 1-4. I doubt I'll make the trip to watch this one. Hope Coalfield goes back to the basics are practice, they had that kid from Midway wraped up quite a lot, but let him loose for those big runs.
  9. Couldnt have said it any better RC.
  10. Pigskinguru what are you talking about? Have another sit down and not practice? I ASKED YOU WHO WAS JEALOUS? WHO SHOULD HAVE BEEN PLAYING THAT DIDNT? I mean sounds like to me like you was a "player, coach, fan, mommy, and daddy on that team" Your making no sense....... giving my opinion makes me not respect anyone? My opinion is this, Coalfield needs a new offensive cord. Anyone that knows a lick about football can tell you that. Coalfield needs to put Melton at QB, does no good to spread him out and not get him the ball. He can hand off just as good as the other kid, which is what they are doing now. I agree with RC, the players on that team except a "few" have some very bad attitudes. Coach isnt what he used to be, I think that 1999 season took a big hit on him, but when the kids are walking all around on the field and looking up in the stands at girls every minute or to, its hard to "want" to coach kids who dont want to give their all. I'm not saying its right or wrong what he's doing...... I dunno anything just whats said on here about him. BTW I loved seeing that back field change last Friday.... Glad to see JK doing whats best for that team, shows a lot of character in doing that. Coalfield could have kept it closer in my opinion, they missed way to many tackles. Midway was the better team, but not by more than 21points. Coalfield just quit once Midway got up by 14.
  11. I'm still lost man, moms and players crying about playing time? Has there ever been a sports team that players didnt want to play more or moms didnt want their kids to play more? I was on the field playing, was captain, I thought I knew most of what was going on between the players and coaches on and off the field that year...... Can you tell me a player that should have been playing more on that team that didnt? I mean sounds like you know more than me about that team........... So fill us in. Those 3 games we lost, Midway= didnt get in the right offense until it was 2 late in the game. As the 2nd round showed that. Greenback= we had that game won, but they was just the better team that night. CAK= Our defense coach kept us running a cover "4" and we as players tried to do our own thing, but CAK picked up apart. Still put us 49points, if you remember it was 49-49 with 6:00 left to go. Lets hear your take on it.
  12. Flordia has 12 guys that run under "4.3" thats not even counting how many they have that run 4.3s, thats just the 4.1s, 4.2s. + Tebo is like a super robot QB, I can't make players on NCAA as good as him lol. Thats what happen......SPEED KILLS, always.
  13. Haha..... yea me and my new lady friend will be there. Its nice to see you understand things, never was I blaming you for not having much production in the back field. When "me" a fan can sit on the sideline and call the plays about 75% of the time, I mean something needs to change there. I've told everyone this that I would have Noah at QB, Sean at RB, you at FB, running the option. By the 4th quarter giving the ball to a 240~lb FB takes a tole on the defense. I honestly say that your offensive cord has cost you probably 2 of the loses. Yes, my senior year we made Ted look like a pro off. cord, but that was all he had to do was to put the ball in 1 of 3 kids hands and it had a chance to score. You guys dont have that, compare it to UT as right now we dont have that game-changing homerun hitter. But we still putting up points and moving the ball. Someone said something about me my senior year also, didnt look at name idrk. There was no jealous on that 2004 team, I can assure you of that. Yes, I wanted the ball every play, but what kind of athlete are you if you dont want the ball as much as possible? I'm sure my buddy MPG thought the same, thats not being jealous, I never cared about my TDs, Yards or anything. I did have a problem when we lost to Greenbak in the season though. Even MPGs dad told me they should have gotten the ball to me more, I touched the ball 3x and scored 2x. Yes, I was upset because in my mind if I would have gotten the ball more we would have won, but hey thats just me being a immature high school kid. Looking back on things like that just brings a smile to me, seeing how much I've matured over the past few years. JK you been running that J-train any? Dont act like you dont know what I'm talking about, because I know how all you youngens are acting at school. Might wanna adress that in a team meeting, seems the kids minds might be on girls instead of football.
  14. Well said "evilslayer7110." I also seen something talking about the offensive cord. The reason the old one left was to coach middle school, + Coalfield is somewhat political...... He knew who was would start at certain positions and it wouldnt have went well with some mommies and daddies. I'm not saying he was great, but he put the ball where it needed to be, in the hands of his play makers. Coalfields offense this year is a joke, they run JK right 2x, then quick pitch to Sean Armes, then try a long pass to NM that Ive only seen completed 1x. Seems to me those boys have other things on their minds through the week than football <--- the kids on the team know what I'm talking about. There are to many individuals on that team this year, and to many players "playing the wrong position" or not "starting in the right position." Whats the point of having your best athlete line up at WR if you cant get him the ball? Looks like Coalfield will start 1-4 this year, this group of seniors have only lost 7 games in the 3 years before. I feel for Coach K down in Coalfield....... "Very few" kids on that team have what you need to win games against good oppents "HEART"I sat on the sideline at the Oneida game and called the plays just based on how the kids broke the huddle and formation, I was right about 75% of the time. Thats without watching film like other teams will do.......
  15. How is the weather in Coalfield today? They have no passing game so weather doesn't matter there, but they have had a problem fumbling this year..... Playing on the wet field will be a nice test for Coalfields backfield. BTW If I was coaching at Coalfield, Sean Armes would be starting hands down. Whats his stats compared to JK? I don't think I've seen JK break a run more than 20 yards this year and SA has broken quite a few, even a 70+ against a good Oneida team.
