  1. In my opinion two fo the top twenty in state that the original post asked for are Will Walton of Battle Ground Academy(B.G.A.). I played aganst him for three years, he was all state last year. And another one is Jonathan Gotterrer of Montgomery Bell Academy(M.B.A.) he baqcked me up for the starting spot for 2 years and always pushed me. I am no longer a high school player so I am unbiased. 2. first of all I am not a high school keeper in Tennessee anymore, Im now at High Point University. I think that the two top keepers in the state for division II are Jonathan Gotterer at M.B.A.(Junior) and Will Walton from B.G.A.(Senior). Will walton was alll state last year, I played against him for three years, he is extremely quick and gets down to the ground well. He is not very tall, I think he is 5'10~?. But he plays like he is 6'2. I wish him the best of luck this year. Jonathan Gotterer played behind me for 2 years at M.B.A. Training against him helped to push me to be better. He was on the national Y-league team, I believe. His only setback will be his strength. If he has hit the weight room in the off season, he will be able to control his box and dominate it. Jonathan is very tall but also is quick to get down on the ground. Gotterer I wish you and the Big Red best of luck this year. If you bust your @$$ in the weight room you will dominate. -Justin Holland (class of 2003) ROLL RED ROLL
  3. Jeff glaser of MBA is the best in the mid-state and is averaging about 1 goal a game
  4. have the middle region brackets come out yet?
  5. MBA plays BA at MBA on thursday may 8th at 6pm in the first round game
  6. The biggest rivalry in the midstate is MBA/ ryan. It is in every sport. MBA wins almost always in evey sport or wins the games win they count, especially in soccer. And BA vs. MBA is not a rivalry in soccer or football. Clinic Bowl 27-11, state-runner up in soccer last year.
  7. OK why do you think that Ryan will beat MBA? MBA has won the region the past 2 years and is in good position to do it again. MBA over ryan. And Chen quit talkin trash.
  8. I received like inbetween 1/3 and 1/2 as far as soccer money goes and some academic money on top of that
  9. Now I'm not trying to get down on Tyler, He is good, but I heavily doubt that he received a full ride to Memphis, seeing as how it's darn near impossible to get a full soccer scholarship unless you are a national team or pool player. Plus How many scholarships does memphis have? I dont believe that they would give a full scholarship to an incoming Freshman, no disrespect to tyler. It's just very far fetched. The only way I will believe he has a full ride is if Either he or the coach from memphis say he has one.
  10. Where is Derrick playing next year? Is he going to be playing college ball?
  11. Why wasn't Tyler playing, And MBA beat Vestavia Hills 3-2, They are one of the top teams in Alabamas largest division, MBA play BA on monday, Who does everyone think will win
  12. Keeper-Justin Holland-MBA Sweeper-Matt Serck-MBA Back-Chris Anderson-Brentwood Back-Tim McAndrew-FRHS Stopper-Matt West-BA Out. mid-Michael Clark-Brentwood Center mid-Harrision Kiser-Brentwood Center mid- Out. mid-Ryan Matteson-Centennial Forward-Stephen Walsh-FRHS Forward-Jeffery Glaser-MBA
  13. Who from the mid-state would you put on your dream team, top 11?
  14. Yes I believe we can, Because our sophmores only make up about 1/3 of our starters, and the rest our juniors and seniors. And our group of seniors are excellent.
  15. MBA lost 7 seniors from last years team, but we are still a strong team, our sophmores have stepped up big time. Im not sure how we will fare at state should we make it, but Charnocks graduatinfg wont eliminate our offense.
  16. The good teams in Division II this year are: from the middle region; MBA, Father Ryan (despite their record are still a very very strong team), and maybe BGA. From the west region; CBHS(Possibly best team in the state), MUS, ECS(possibly but lost alot of stars). From the east region; Notre Dame(supposedly is very strong this year), and as always look out for Baylor, and McCallie.

Hey if I stink so darn bad then how come I have signed a division 1 scholarship? And how come my team has won reigion the past 3 years? So before you start talkin trash about me you better know what you are talking about, plus I have never posted about myself, alll you have done is make yourself look ignorant.
  19. The best player ever to play at MBA, was either Scott Blount, A keeper who was the 5th pick in the A league draft, who played for furman when they were ranked in top 20. Or Brian Charnock, A member of the U-17 national team for 2 yrs and is now playing ball at harvard.

We(MBA) are going to be pretty good this year but not as good as last year, we are going to need alot of our younger players to step up and help carry the load that our seven graduated starters left.
  21. Scott pettus is only a junior, but you should consider Hunter Hawkins from MBA, a pitcher, He is being recruited by a few schools, dont know the names of the schools off the top of my head but I know he is good.

Until you start recruiting soccer players you will never beat MBA, in soccer, regardless of who your coach may be.
  25. Who are the best freshmen girls in TN, I think Stefanie Holland from Harpeth Hall and Monica Dunham from Franklin High are two of the best in the state easily
