  1. I suggested to Josh Jeffers to go out for the track team to help him with his speed. He is fairly quick, just needs a little more. Also it would hurt him to hid the weight room hard in the off season to help build his strength in his legs. Spencer Chambers is fast. He also needs to hit the weight room. I think he already is planning to run track. He is Wesley's next door neighbor and good friends with Wes. I'm sure Wesley would be more than happy to help Spencer out. There are a few more players on the team coming up that looked pretty good this past season. They just need a little more time to grow and learn. There is Jared Sexton, Gage Babb, Joe Brooks just to name a few more that I look to come around with practice and playing time. Good luck to the Highlanders next year and the future. GO WAR DADDIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Region2 3A

I looked in the Knoxville NewsSentiel and here on CoachT and I haven't seen who all have made the all region team this year. last year it was in the paper on Dec 27.
  3. I heard Knox Catholic and Carter are moving into 3A region 2 next year.
  4. Thanks. I didn't know how many yards Wes had. I know he had over 100 at half time. Scott looked like they wanted to win last night.
  5. There was 4-5 quit because they felt they shouldn't have to run a few laps for violation of team rules, so they quit. A few basketball players started in the spring and some did quit, but a couple have stayed and are doing a good job for the team.
  6. Congradulations to Fulton.. You all have great speed and are a hard hitting team. You all have a lot of great talent and are fun to watch. The Fulton fans were nice and friendly too. I would love to see ya'll plat A-E.. I never have bashed a ref ever, but the game last night was by far the worst called high school game I have ever seen in my life. The hitting out of bounds and in the end-zone are judgement calls. No problem there. The face masks, cliping, holding and pass interferences right in front of the refs are what got me. Maybe its different when two Knoxville teams play each other. Fulton is too good of a team to need one sided refs.
  7. Scott will win if they play like they've been playing.
  8. Scott High @ Loudon County!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. I will have to agree about A-E and Fulton not getting the media coverage due them. Also I would like to bring up the fact that the other East Tennessee schools that don't get any coverage from the larger area newspapers or media. Schools like Campbell County, Morgan County Schools, Scott High or Oneida. Looking at Knoxpreps in the paper and there is not any coverage on them at all. The paper claims to cover the teams in the area, but fail to cover anything about the teams in the paper no matter how good they are. I think these kids deserve the recongition that the other schools get. Even knoxpreps.com is showing last years players on the roosters for some of these schools. I know there are other schools not covered either. I don't know if its the schools are not passing the information along to the paper or what.
  10. The Tigers looked alot better this year than last year. I see the Tigers goning farther this year than last year. But every seemed to forgot to mention the 2 two point converstions Scott had with the #1 team.
  11. I'm pulling for Scott High. The team is lookin good as a team of good players.
  12. Scott High Highlanders.

    Schedules

Hey All, I was just at the TSSAA site and they have the new schedules posted for 2003.
  14. I would love to see them play each other. Oneida is a 1A school while Scott high is 3A. I would like from them to play a game once a year and the proceeds going to the schools football programs. It would help each one out and be standing room only.
