I watched the game with Halls and Maryville last week and could of swore I saw a Halls coach trying to impersonate Tim Conway.

Pretty good job Silverpie. Although in region 2, I don't see them moving Scott Co. to Region 1. It does have Claiborne Co. in region 1. TSSAA tries to make some great rival games, but someone will get left out. My guess it will be either Carter, Gibbs, or Scott. The natural thing to do would be let the teams from Knox County play in a region while surrounding counties in anothe region. That does not seem fair to the other teams, but neither does splitting your school into two schools (vocational, academic ) just to play down.

I did not realize that Coach Helton had left. I do agree that some coaches had left with a not so clean mouth, but the last time I looked Coach Helton was still there.

Farragut by 21 Baylor by 12 Carter by 8 Central by 12 South-Doyle by 8 Halls is not any better. AE by 21 Powell by 6 Fulton by 21 West by 16

Carter by 12, seemed to have slowed a highly powerful Fulton Team and rolled some offense against Clinton. Not sure what Clinton has is competitive, but still won.

Welcome to High School Football. You need to come see the Knox Central Coaching staff. Talk about a cussing. The military has nothing on the Central high coaching staff.

I agree Catsfever- Yesterday several Central fans made a comment about it and I just thought it was time to bring attention to the problem and let the real Central fans get on them.

Shanec-Stick to little League and dreams of becoming a coach. You are completely wrong on the 7-8. I said, and if you will look back, football scholarship. Not financial aid. There is a big difference. Also there is a big difference in football scholarship and aid in grant money.

With all those huge Powell lineman he knew where to go to get recognized.

Can you tell me who all besides Cassen signed a football scholarship, not financial aid, to play college football. I am talking about last years Central team only. Big99 What makes you think that Central and Fulton have the only signees. How many did Fulton have last year? I am talking about full football scholarships not finacial aid, or government grants.

Amazing is it not that not one thing was said about Huber being D-1 until he went to Powell. Then it was all over the place. It seem like to me that he got no attention until he went to Powell.

I have listened to the Knoxville Central fans talk down about Smith and Huber transfering to Powell. The same thing that they have been doing to other schools for several years now finally comes back to bite them. This is a problem that is being seen more often now. For instance: all those kids that wore AE jerseys last year in Youth League are wearing Fulton. What ever team seems to be winning is the team to join. The really bad thing is that the parents are starting more and more to shop these kids around. There is no more community involvement or pride. It is time to step up to the plated and do the right thing. play for your community.

Did Maurice Davis also transfer to Fulton?

Apparently he does not play, or at least has no impact for his team.

Cade only played 2 series against Carter, and probably about 3 quarters against Alcoa. That would be basically one less game than Helton. Also how many of those passes went to a player (Scott) with breakaway ability. There is a difference in just throwing the go route as compared to actually having a passing game.

The entire staff at Maryville did not play high school and college football. Sounds to me like someone has padded the resume. Please if you can name the coaches and were they played.

Feel like they are a little better this year. Although I might be wrong. Let Catholic play a few good teams and we will see.

Who is Kenneth Davis, and what is the story behind him. Did he transfer to Maryville from Halls? I may have heard I'm just not sure.

It is already happening in Knoxville.

I was at a game several years ago when a similar incident happened. It was at Halls In Knoxville, and there are stands on one side only of the field, the other side are a bunch of tall hardwoods. The band was on the field during halftime when all the sudden the lights went out. Fireworks shot up and exploded in the air, as the sky lit up a naked body ran from enzone to enzone and escaped over the fence in the night. I have not told it as good as it happened, but it had to be one of the funniest things I ever saw.

Maryville wins by 62 points. They throw on those Halls DB's all night, due to Hall's short comings. I saw a team picture and thought they were not very big in stature, then I saw the coaching staff. Except for two of them the rest look like body building midgets (coaching staff).
