Sounds to me like Franklin has a pretty good team this year......what happened to the offense in this game though? Just curious......

I'll tell you what, this region has some strong strong teams. Lets see how they match up with region 4-5A come playoff time, cause they're doin well right now!

A year ago, this game was considered an easy win for Brentwood...........and while they did squeak out the win, they did it with 29 seconds left, winning it 17-12. Now that this game is back again, both teams have loads of talent. If anyone has anything to share, from predictions or just valid comments, please do so!

While I agree that refs do make bad calls, we also have to remember this: refs are going to make bad calls. It's just part of the game! I know, sometimes the calls are TERRIBLE, and we want to go and hit the refs, but we have to remember that they are human and will make mistakes. I simpathize with both parties here, and I understand that it's easy to get mad at the refs. Just play the game, and in the off chance that a call actually decides a game, which in most cases it does not, you'll hear plenty from everyone about it. Until then, don't worry bout it.

faninthestand, Owen just started kicking this year, and is filling in for an injured Adam Berkowicz, who should be back this week. Both do a good job, and it will be interesting to see what happens between them.

This game is a joke. Franklin is just too much for Oakland, especially with the lack of depth for the Patriots. Special teams are so lopsided for Franklin its not funny. Franklin 45 Oakland 9

Centennial's Adam Berkowicz and Jordan Owen are 9-9 on XP's, Berkowicz has a 23 yd FG and Owen has a 34, not a lot of touchbacks, but Berkowicz was injured when he kicked and hit them to the 5, and Owen, in the last two games, has done great. Not quite Defatta and Cambell, but were getting there

Greg Gregory is the head coach of Centennial. As for lack of respect, lets be honest. They are the defending state champs, and everyone is giving them their credit due. But no one gives a crap about what they did a year ago when a new season has begun. I'm sorry, but playing Father Ryan and Clarksville as opening games isn;t going to wow people. Brentwood will get respect for THIS season when they play a respectable foe. Don't get cocky and predict 10-0.....I'm guessing that at least two of their region games will come down to special teams, and both Franklin and Centennial have Special teams that match the bruins, if not exceeding them. Good luck this season.

I think Franklin will win this game, simply because they are better overall then Columbia. Columbia has a decent running game, a good offensive line, and an average defense. Special teams goes to Franklin, of course. My score: Franklin 34 Columbia 21
