Hey Longsnapper, You are right, 260 bench press is pretty dang good for a sophomore. But if you think that is good, you should have seen Jamal Price at Riverdale his sophomore year: 1999 season. He cleaned 260, benched 330, and squated 600. And he only weighed 190. His pound/pound was 6.3. He set several records at the Warrior Invitational weightlifting tournament that year.

I guess that 260 is not that high of a bench press for a sophomore considering that Kenny Merideth at Blackman Benches 320, squats almost 500, and cleans 300 as a sophomore. He also only weighs only 185.

I start on the offensive line at Blackman. Don't worry about what others think. They said the same thing about Blackman and look at us know. In our first full varstiy season, we became the first team ever in Tennessee to make the playoffs in its first varsity season. We even almost beat Riverdale in the playoffs two years in a row. Now its Eagleville's turn to shine. Maybe yall will be the first team ever to win the state title in its first full varsity season. Say hey to Sean Lafferty for me. I went to Rockvale and Blackman with him. GO BLAZE!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!

D6, don't wory about how small u are. I started every game this season at left gaurd for the BLAZE. I was only 5'8" and 185 lbs. Size doesn't matter. Good luck at SHS next year.

The school is pronounced Blackman, not Blackmon.

Good post Shady. Thank you for being supportive to the Blaze. It heps comfort the pain. I am a senior at Blackman. I start on the offensive line. I played my last game ever last night. I was so sad that I cried myself to sleep. I truly believe that we should have won this game and last year's playoff game against Riverdale too. Once again, thank you for supporting us and believing in us this year.

Coach Alsulp plans to resign the head coaching job after his son graduates in 2 years. Watson Probably won't go to Siegal. He has a job lined up at Blackman in 2 years. Watson has told me that the reason he came to Blackman is because he new he would be the head coach some day.

I agree with you slim. I, along with the rest of the O-LINE, am going to take it to the d-line of cook--who?
