  1. FHSRebel, why is it embarassing to have Siegel over Wilson Central? I mean, even though Siegel is a new school, they have a very talented team as well as a great coaching staff. The practices are bringing the group together as they prepare to enter camp. If all goes well, they will enter camp individuals and leave a team.
  2. Winning isn't the only thing, but it beats whatever comes in second-Bear Bryant If you're early, you're on time. If you're on time, you're late. If you're late, you're gone.-Vince Lombardi
  3. Siegel may be able to compete in their 1st season. They have a good coach in David Watson. The biggest hurdle will be getting the players to work as one offensive and defensive machine. But, knowing Coach Watson, I think Siegel can pull it off. Don't look for them to make a big inital impact, but look for them to steadily improve over the season and significantly the year after.
  4. From my experience with Coach Watson, he will do better than expected at Siegel. Watson is a tough coach, but he is also well-resected by his players. He's on their @$$'s one minute and cutting up with them the next. Also, he will turn the linemen into better and quicker players, much like the job he did at Blackman. Also, he knows how to make a team look good, i.e. he picked BHS's uniforms.

"Welcome to the Jungle"-Guns ~N~ Roses "Beautiful People"-Marilyn Manson "Nobodies"-Marilyn Manson "Walk"-Pantera "Great Southern Trendkill"-Pantera "More Human Than Human"-White Zombie
  6. Kelly Holcomb as QB Coach? That's a lil' much, don't ya think. He's got an NFL career to worry about.
  7. SHS's head coach is Coach Watson from BHS! YES!!!!!
  8. WATSON IS THE HED COACH OF SIEGEL, YESSSSS [Edited by DoubleSixes on 1-31-03 9:26P]
  9. Region4Fan, I went to BHS and I played all of freshman year and some of my sophomore year, but I made the mistake of giving it up, a mistake I've hated ever since. I've been working hard to get back into playing shape and am ready for my 2nd chance, and I believe SHS holds that opportunity for that. Ever since I've began playing, I've been an offensive and defensive lineman, but @ 5'10", 205 lbs., it's an uphill battle for me. Another question though, if the stadium isn't complete, is it true that SHS will play @ MTSU?

  11. I am a sophomore entering my junior year, and I will be zoned for Siegel. I am rather excited for the chance of going, but I want to separate the rumors from the facts about the athletics teams, namely football. So my questions are, does anybody know anything about Siegel's team, i.e. the school colors, head football coach, team mascot? I have heard that thhe colors are navy and carolina blue, but I've also heard that they are Navy, Teal, and silver. As far as the mascots go, I have heard Panthers, Trojans, Knights, and Sabretooths. Help me I'm confused.
  12. I heard Nick Nance from Blackman High School is a great receiver. He's 6'1", 190 lbs. and runs a 4.2 in the forty. He's got great hands, yet Blackman tries to trick defenses by stating he's an OT. Watch out for Nick if you play BHS.
  13. Derek Bowen of Blackman is a terrific offensive tackle with size, power, and speed as well as great experience. Other great seniors from BHS will be FB/LB Michael Maupin, RB/CB Rico Turner, and OG/DL Zach Gilliam, quite possibly the best defensive lineman in the state.
