Cascade played a heck of a game, MP made mistakes early but I imagine Cascade had something to do with that. The Champions had won 5 in a roll for a reason. The Tiger coaching staff did a good job of keeping MP in the game and pulling it out,the drive after halftime was big. Everyone expected a let down after the WC game and they got it . A good team finds a way to win and the Tigers did ,good use of the players. I throught the MP kicking game was very good. We may have seen the best 2 linebackers in the state, Fennessee and Christmas. Both lived up to their hype. Great game and a win is a win. For you ZCA, if you go to the MP games you must sit on the otherside because I'm sure if you sat on MP's side someone would have already gave you the spanking you need, you want need to go visit any MP players, I think some of them will be coming to visit you,have fun. 10 and 0,10 and 0,10 and 0,10 and 0, 10 and 0, 10 and 0, 10 and 0,10 and 0,............

I agree wuz63 Caleb Dugger is one of the most exciting players on the team. My question is why does he have (according to the Hearld) only 12 carries in 9 games,at 163 yds rushing thats about 13.5 yds per carry and 3 td's. Does his daddy hold him back ??? It seems like a waste of talent not to give him the ball. He may be the best back in the region.

MP playing Zion is a county, newspaper, politics thing ,MP hates it.

The Tigers have alot of people who will POP! I think #30 is in a league of his own. If you look in the Daily Herald you will see that MP's bad pass defense is allowing a huge completion rate of about 30%. What do you people consider a good pass defense. Don't forget to tell us how the privomits will pick us apart and all that.

MP's schedule may or may not be weak,it's not something they can do anything about. Region 6a has 10 teams, that's 9 games plus MP has to play the challenge cup with CA and Zion(it's sponsered by the Hearld). So until next year there is no where to put another game. I still believe the big problem with Privomit schools is not recruiting, but the fact that they have no zones.

I remember sitting in the stands during the late 90's and then '00,'01,'02 watching and wishing MP could win 5 games,now they have won a region championship and are about to go 10-0 I am very happy with the team and the coaches, going to the games is fun again and the players seem to be having a good time. That is what is important. If MP wins the state great,if not the playoffs are just extra icing on the cake,a chance for the boys to play a few more games. So keep up the great support fans and GO TIGERS!!!

W.I.T. so your saying the MP defense is not going to make the trip,because if they do Cascade will not get 35. In fact I don't think they could get 35 on the MP jv.

WCP, MP did not score after the 3rd qt. What is it exactly that you want?

So you people are saying that WC is so weak coach smith sould have put the subs in in the 2nd qt. so not to "run up the score". That shows disrespect for your own team, the real players (the Tigers and the Wildcats) that were on the field tonight know what happened and still have much respect for each other. If MP had wanted to run up the score it would have been 70 on the board not 51. Ruddle is the real deal and the people of wayne co. should be very proud of his guts and heart, he took a beating and kept on coming. Good luck in the playoffs to both teams and to MP go get a big one at Cascade ,no let down.

Theo Fennessee had 121 yds on 16 carries,thats 7.5 yds per carry. When was it that he did not want the ball anymore in the Huntland game? Also quit lying about your injuries down at WC, No one in MP cares who plays or not, we'll play who ever you bring and prepare the same.(wow,I can rhyme too). One team will win, it might be the Cat's or it might be the Tigers,one thing you can bet on,It will be worth watching! GO TIGERS!!!

I would say the MP D coach has done what he needed to do on each friday night and if it takes something else to play with WC then that is what MP will do. If you can line up all 11 men on the line and win thats what you do,just what ever it takes. WC and MP will both have their hands full all night, don't expect a shutout either way, MP will put up points. Come early and be prepared to stay late. WCP if you run out of water to give your team MP has some of the best in the state and we'll be glad to share.

Mt.Pleasant vs Waynesboro, a real war,football as it should be,the game of the year, maybe the game of the decade in region 6a. Ruddle is healthy and so is MP so no excuses. Get there early, fire up the grills and make a party of it in pre game because when the cat fight starts no one better look away. I'll say coach Smith lets all of his cats loose and the Tigers win a close one that goes down to the wire. To Stephen, I guess you think if a DB isn't perfect and allows a completion he's terrible. YOU may have had 5 ints your senior year but I bet you had none vs CA or MP (real football teams) you had them vs those weak sisters zion plays. When is your alma mater going to join a region and quit picking their victims, they have been babied long enough. Get in or get out. GO TIGERS!!!!

On the way from the stands to the parking lot the Huntland fans were very nice and polite they are real classy people.

HUNTLAND is TOUGH!!!! Congratulations an the effort,be proud of your HORNETS. Some of the worst refs I've ever seen, not bias just stupid,1st time I've seen a call that screwed both teams(the grounding call). MP QB is is running out of the pocket and trys to hit his FB but misses refs call grounding but don't give MP a lose of down, both sides of the field gets to get mad. A big game like that needs to have good officals not a crew like that. Goodluck the rest of the year Huntland.

Jarmarcus maybe the best player on the team,but not by much. Look at what has happened since the other players have started getting to run the ball. Dugger,Davis,Sparkman and Dailey are some of the best runners I have ever seen at MP. RoRO Fennessee maybe the best defensive player ever to play at MP so MP may not beat the privomit schools but they will beat them up, and the fans will still be proud and have enjoyed the season.

He got hit twice by Chase Deridder.He's probably still not sure where he is.

Mt.Pleasant is hoping Ruddle gets better for the big cat fight that is coming up. Everyone is looking forward to the showdown and a man like Ruddle deserves to be 100% for the game because it will be memorable whichever way it goes.

MP 50+ Huntland 8. As for Smith going to Central Why? the pay would be the same and he could beat Central now, so why go to a worse situation? Central is moving up to 5a.

I beleive the roster said MC had 12 seniors thats not really considered a young team. Maybe they are young at the skill positions I don't know, the MC QB is very good. I bet he wishes he had someone as bad and over rated as Webster to throw to.

Webster was not covered like a blanket,MP has started spreading the ball around more and using all of the weapons,of which they have plenty. MP has players that don't start that would play every down for MC. How many players have you seen better than #3 or 5 or 20 or 2 or 4 or 32 or 7 or 78 or 54 or 30 or 19 ,well I won't boor you with the rest. Sure when the teams get tougher the score will go down any moran knows that and MP may not go to the state,but they could have put 80 on you,and if eagleville scored 27 on WC, WC can't beat MP with or without Ruddle. MP 55 MC 10.

MP a 1st qt team and then falls apart ? You have no idea what you are talking about. After the first couple of qts they just put in the younger boys and continue to score. You've never seen them play if you say something like that, so come on down and by your ticket and enjoy!!!

Unless he went to coach at a college ,a move might be down the ladder.
