They are friends, I think most of us are good friends with Coach Francis outside of sports. She relates to us better! I don't know who the assitant is, we all know its not Francis(Although there needs to be a woman assitant for the girls!). Nobody knows who it is though! It should be announced before the end of the week!

I've been gone for the weekend, so this whole Hutchings thing is kinda new/weird to me. I know he was at every game this year, but I can't see him as a basketball coach! Just my opinion!! Whoever ther assitants turn out to be, it will be the right decision, Lynch will make the right choices!!! I do agree With SportsFan16 however. The girls need another girl to relate with. Kim Francis knows what they are going through with playing and all, she's been there. So I do think they are at a loss without her. But I do think that we will surprise people! Go Eagles!

I was very pleased with this decision, although I was really looking forward to having Coach Francis as an assitant!!! I don't think she should leave the high school girls, a lot of them really like her, and she is a GREAT coach! But to Coach Lynch: Good Luck! I think we all are looking forward to basketball!

First of all, her name is KARPER!!! Eagleville only has Sarah Karper returning, they also have Katie Shapcott who saw her fair share of playing time last season. Those 2 are guaranteed to start, the other 3 spots for Eagleville are open. Rumor has it that there are a few girls who played in the past that are going to return this year, but nobody knows. Eagleville won't be last, they are going to struggle with the loss of all of the seniors, but they will recover! Go Eagles!

No Way!!! Sarah is definitely not there to play for herself. She plays to win, yes, but who doesn't? She loves her team, and would never be that selfish, and I think(my opinion!!) that if a player is only there for his/herself, you can tell it when he or she is on the court. Sarah and I have talked a lot about this. She wants Lynch to coach, there is not doubt about that, I do also. BUT I think that if Francis got the spot, she would stay. She and I know that either one would be great for the spot. I just can't imagine her going anywhere else, but if she decides to, I will respect her decision. I just don't know what will happen. Like I said Sarah...Follow your heart! I love ya!

I don't know about Fallon, but Sarah is let's say 75 to 25% about whether to stay or go...Basically she wants to stay at EHS, but we just don't know if she will in the long run. I hope she does! She is the greatest asset that the Eagleville girls team has, and it would be awful to see her leave! But I think she will stay! I love you Sarah! Follow your heart!

Well I'm glad that you are pulling for us! But me and Sarah wanna know who you are! Lol...We WILL find out eventually! But we are gonna work really hard and do our best to come out on top! Thanks for the comments!

Yes, Coach McClaran is wanting to get his masters degree. I think Coach Francis should get it, and she would be a great coach for the girls! If my sources tell me correctly, Coach Chris Lynch has also applied for the spot, along with Coach Joey Reed! That info MIGHT be wrong, but that's just what I heard! Whoever gets the job, however, will do great I'm sure!

I also agree!!! Coach Francis should totally take over. Many think that she isn't the best coach, but I've played b-ball for her in the past and she definitely has the potential to take over this program!!! And the comment about old players returning is also true. Good luck to everyone!

GoldenGlove, I don't know who you are, but you obviously are at a lot of Eagleville games. I know you were concentrating on the pitchers in your post, but I think that if you are going to talk about people that are leading the team, Bryce should definitely be included. But I do agree with all of your comments. The Eagles should have beat Huntland in both games on Friday night. It's just like they lost it in the second game. And they do have the potential to go far this year, they do have the talent. They just have to have the desire. I think most of them have it, they just need to step up their game. Next game is Monday at home against Richland. It should be a great one. Go Eagles!
