I have a friend of which I cannot say from where. His job is to research and discover talent. Some call it scouts, well scouts are 2nd to look at a player, first a researcher studies the players stats, ability , compatition and so on then they relay whether the kid is worth looking at more closely....Some inside infomation is that a team in the top 10 right now is very interested in Byrds special teams ability...His senior yr. and the rest of the playoffs will determine how interested they stay in him....

well i am a cloudland fan from the east and I am proud of maryville and what they have accomplished...Im proud to have a tenn. school ranked nationally....It is lonely at the top, but deep down the whole state respects maryville...Even though they do pull for greenback. Just kidding.

Last yrs. 4th round playoff against south pitt. was also a good crowd. Not a lot of seating, but alot of bank to stand on...At least greenback has good seating, but very little parking, so cloudland get their early.

the refs in greenville are terribly bias for greenville schools. Especially when a out of area single a is playing a 4a and takeing it to them...Cloudland vs. cherokee from rogersville tn.

Actually I believe cloudlands largest crowd came the first game of the yr. when they played county rivals 2a hampton...the rain hindered the crowd fri. nite or it would probably have beaten the record..It is a very big rivalry and everyone in the county usually attends.

Im from the east and personally I think middle tenn. is the strongest because of the populus and money involved...Game style is also ahead of the rest of the state...From 1a to 5a.. some exceptions maryville cloudland boyd trousdale

fans at cloudland get on coach t and aggravate everybody...Before everybody gets mad I am cloudlands biggest fan...we just mainly stand on the hill and freeze to death and yell for 1 quarter. Thats usually all the excitement we get because the starters are usually on the bench after the 1st quarter...

Go to a University of tennessee game and see what the pride band does when the oposite teams gets near them....High school shouldnt be any different...

dont anybody from cloudland pay any attention to jcole23 he is a sophmore who doesnt even start...Just trying to stir things up... Both teams are capable of winning...I hope one of us wins state. Rather it be cloudland.

greenback can not beat cloudland. Maybe cloudland might beat cloudland but not greenback....Cloudland is going to the clinic bowl and they will beat ezell or cpa or whatever private school makes it.

I personally think it is going to be the best 1a game in the state. Both defenses are tough..Close game, and it will come down to who has the most heart...

Greenback come to play and play hard, because you dont wont to go through life wondering what if I had. I would like to see a good game, but I dont think it will happen. Cloudland is just too strong...

I got to see the greenback coalfield game and greenback shutout coalfield 34-0. But usuing that game as comparison I dont think it will even be close friday night. The only way cloudland loses, is if they beat themselves..I talked to a couple of midways players after the 1st round game. They said greenback didnt have a chance in _______. Well I think they have a chance, but a small one at best....
