  1. on one hand Cookeville is playing great right now and then again on the other hand CCHS is starting to turn into a really talented team. Willie Patton is starting to come into his own while the x factors in the game for cchs will be the streaky play of Christopher and Cumby. If they have good games CCHS will take this one but im still undecided. For now I will say CCHS 75 cookeville 70....based on they way that the Jets have battled it out against Cleveland and Rhea
  2. The CCHS fans are on of the most obnoxious and loudest when they want to be but nobody complains when the Cameron Crazies of Duke University are being obnoxious like that.I think its good for the fans to be loud and obnoixious. It just seems more fun that way. All of the Bradley Vs. CCHs games seem weird one game somebody will come out there and beat the crap out of one of them and the next game it will be the exact opposite.Thats why you cant predict them.
  3. Okay first off I never said she wasnt a great player but she stunk against CCHS. And yes Lindsey Jones is playing for Tennessee Tech buddy.......By the way Crystal Davis won the MVP that year over BRICKney Jackson SLY......hahahahaha
  4. Yeah why is it that MArio and Luigi are always the refs...All you from CCHS know what I mean.....Oh yeah and Pork Chop pork chop......who else does that one as good as CCHS......nobody.......I love the old days when the Zoo Crew dominated that school.....Thanks Kyle,Timur,Jed,Justin,Harville,Bob,Justice,Poland,Dickinson hes still there.......those were the good days hahaha....GO JETS
  5. Anybody else remember how badly Britney Jackson shot against CCHS two years ago? I do, now I know we are talking about boys basketball here but it will be a contest. Bradley wins by two but dont take my word for it
  6. The Jets will give almost everybody they play this year a run for their money. They are a tough and competitive team coached by a rising star in Mike Buck.Although CHase Burnett is gone lets not forget about the like of Danny Cunby,Brandon Houston, and last but not least tough and gritty guard Denis Gilpin. They will be tough and competive so watch out for them this season.......P.S. that was a bit of a cheap shot on the fans there.....I would like to see some proof on them discriminating against African-American Players.......If you cant prove it then shut up
  7. I have no doubt that this will be a close game and I am far from certain that CCHS is going to win but almost all the people are writing them off thats all im saying....By the way I dont live in Crossville however I used to live there and are still big fans of the town and school. A lot of people there probably still know my brother Matt Alva cause he used to play football there....Also Gondolas is probably your best bet for somewhere around there to eat
  8. Everything that I have read about the Jets here has been negative. It is safe to say they have had an easy schedule however,no matter what you can say they have taken care of business. Their two losses have come to Mcminn and Cookeville two very good teams. Not to mention both of the games were extremely close and they did lose to Mcminn on a ridiculous 53 yard field goal. I believe they will win against Oakland because their homefield advantage will be huge.Anybody who doubts that all I have to say is look back to 1998 when the Jets played a heavily favored Oakland and lost in a contreversial 20-14 game which included some very questionable calls. Attending that game were tons of screaming CCHS fans that never gave up hope against long odds. But as for this game Issac Ostrander one of the most underrated players in the state will take control behind a very big and powerful CCHS line. Congratulations Oakland for perservering through tough injuries this year, and congratulations CCHS for bringing your football program back to where it should be. Good luck to both teams and prepare for a battle
