  1. DB truly is the best team and they'll just go and prove it again against TN High, I know it was just Jeff. Co. but they relaxed for a but late in the fourth and when JC scored a TD off the kick-off for their only score in the game, DB went on to score 2 more TD's, bottom line is that DB won't be stopped this year.
  2. Loudon will easily have another good season, last year they went 9-1 reg. season (of course losing to Alcoa) and then lost to Alcoa in the State Semi's but I do look for Alcoa to win the Region, I think the only real "test" left for Alcoa will be the fifteenth when they host Loudon, but having already lost 2 games, they will be coming out ready to whoop any team and with Loudon actually struggling against Lenoir City, but still pulling out the W, I expect the Region to go to Alcoa and Loudon to come in second.
  3. Are Willie and Wayne not playing then, i was under the impression that they were, and in that case, it doesn't matter if they can or cannot win without them, because they'll be there for the state tourny and you gotta know they wanna go out with another championship.
  4. That stinks, maybe that is why Tennessee is catching up with KY in BBall
  5. Thanks, I knew that they were both out now and I assumed Sykes didn't play at all, but I was unsure about Lindsey.
  6. That's kind of pathetic, every one has differences and there are people I don't like at work but I still get the job done.
  7. Yeah, Catholic had a great year, but they didn't quite make this list.
  8. When the year opened up, Alcoa had a roster only 2 players on the team that didn't play football--Ridenour and Stubblefield and they can both shoot the lights out if you don't play 'em tight. I am not sure if anyone quit the team, but I know at least Lindsey and Sykes got hurt-coming from football I think. I assume they may have moved players up, but I don't know for sure.
  9. No doubt, that takes either a lot of guts or an amazing team to start out a program with their schedules. Luckily for Liberty, they have both an amazing team and guts.
  10. True---it will be a fairly close game, but MC will win as long as they don't underestimate Alcoa too much for Alcoa is much better than White House looked to be in Sub-State.
  11. McMinn's schedule is kinda weak, why does that mean they can't play? They have got to be tired of losing at the 'Boro--not that that's enough to win, but if they play well and ALL of the players play as a team they could do something. Clearly Beau Brown is the go to guy, but he is certainly not all that they have.
  12. I think Alcoa would win in a nail biter, they are just good like that, but I think MC will have a decent lead late and win by 8 or 10, if Haywood beats Liberty and gets tired or if Liberty wins and is worn out then MC has a chance, but they will have to jump on the backs of Beau and Blake.
  13. I gotta agree with this, it's McMinn Central though not County, I would like to see MC in the championship, but regardless of what everyone else does, I think Bolivar will win it, lots of experience winning here in AA. They know what it takes.
  14. Yeah, lost by 4 in championship last year to Bolivar, I expect RE to beat Bearden though, good luck to both teams though.
