  1. 7asuperfan, Where is the regional tournament played?
  2. That was a tough loss to Friendship in 1994, I was at that game. The State Championship game against BGA in the 1992-93 season is one of the toughest I think (lost 73-70). PC had the State won, but threw the ball away with like a minute to go. It makes me sick to my stomach to this day and I was even a youngster then. However, I have heard that around 1974-75 maybe 1973 that PC had a good team that may have won the state then if they were not upset by Gainesboro (name at the time I believe). PC beat them two times during the year. I believe this was Jerry K. senior year. My dad played on that team and to this day, thinking of that lose still makes him sick to his stomach.
  3. I may be wrong, but I believe Adam had a choice to finish playing basketball at PC his senior year or go to Upperman, but chose Upperman. I believe last years team had a shot at winning the State tournament if they would have won their home substate game. If you can just get to the state tournament, it really is anyone's championship to win, at least in class A.
  4. Ha, It actually stands for Class A State Champs.
  5. What are you referring to with "your team knocking them out in the state tourney" Are you thinking CASC stands for Chattanooga Arts and Science?
  6. Wow, thanks for the informative post. I wasn't sure which game it was, I was there though.
  7. Yes, I agree. Joseph Amonett had, I believe, the best single season as a PC player in 1995. I know a few games he got his point average by hitting many free throws in the game, particularly the Clarkrange games. As far as clutch, the one shot that stands out as the most clutch shot, I believe goes to Nathan Aaron. The shot against Chattanooga Christian in the sectional game at Chattanooga State. Winning that game did a lot for those boys and for the PC program and I believe help spring the state tournament run during the early 2000s, but it was pretty unbelievable. Also, I believe PC would have won the State Tournament in 2001? the year they went something like 33-2, if they kept feeding Aaron the rock, he was on fire that game, 6-6 from the 3pt line I believe. Also, a case can be made for being clutch is E. Mitchell in the 1990 state tournament game against Moore Co., I believe, when he practically won the game for PC.
  8. 7asuperfan, Knowing PC pretty well myself. I thought I'd give this post some action. Who do you think has had the best single season since let's say 1990? I'll go a little further, the best clutch shooter also?
  9. I was real impressed how CSAS players knew what to do when they got the ball. Did you notice they each would catch the ball and get in the fundamental 'triple threat' position (ready to pass, shoot, or dribble). They looked well coached. Nice job.
  10. Not for sure, but I would say that CSAS hit 3 of those 4 threes in the first 5 mins. It sure seemed like it.
  11. Actually, Pickett Co. was 10-0 in home substate games (90,91,92,93,95,96,00,01,02,05) I am an ex-manager what can I say. But Congrats to CSAS on the win. PC did not play well at all the first half (turnovers). Give CSAS credit for hitting the shots when they needed them, that is what won the game for CSAS. Very impressive game from Capps. Nice dunks. PC needs to build off this game and dominate next season with one goal in mind (State championship). Great job on the season PC. One more thing, I am originally from PC. That was one of the BEST officiating games I have witnessed in post season play.
  12. I heard Gibson should be back in about a week or two. But this is hear say.
  13. Game sounds tight. Should be an interesting 2nd half.
  14. I got the radio link working now....just not the live stats working.
