Or if CPA and EZELL take care of business tonight and met in the second game of the region - I think that would be even more fun to watch!

Ezell could not match the agressive play of Hume-Fogg tonight. There was little fire in their game until it was simply too late. It will be interesting to see what happens between Ezell and Lipscomb on Monday night. The LipscombCPA game was a great matchup with both teams playing hard until the very end. Congratulations to both CPA and Hume-Fogg on their victories tonight.

Indeed, it will be an exciting tournament! Congratulaions to FRA on a great season. They are a talented and very well-coached team.

The Ezell-Harding Lady Eagles played well last night against MLK. They will have the opportunity to put the regular season behing them and start fresh next week in the district tournament. These girls have the potential to move on to the region tournament if they play to their potential. Eakes is an amazing player with a lot of heart! If the girls can play as a team the Lady Eagles should be able to beat FRA. FRA is well-coached and this gives them an advantage, but good solid team play by Ezell will give them the win.

Congratulations to Leah McAlister! She is a GREAT young lady. I am very proud of her.

The Private Schools of the current District 9A are movin' on up, so get ready for a battle to the 'Boro in 2006! After all, isn't everyon'es fear of these teams the reason why they brought in the multiplier?

Does anyone know who received honors for A & AA Tournaments?

No excuses for the first two - only the last one when the referees gift-wrapped the game for CPA...

All of this started with a poorly called game in which Ezell Harding was beaten by the referees in their district tournament game against CPA. Although, admittedly, Ezell was not as strong as every other year, their opportunity to advance into the region tournament was taken away by poor officiating rather than a well-prepared CPA team. I feel betternow that I have gotten that off my chest.

Do you REALLY believe that NCS can beat Ezell-Harding?

Couldn't the NCS defense just TAKE the ball away from Lipscomb when they stalled the game? Quick hands and feet can stop a stall offense....

Don't beat yourself up over the loss big48eagle... like you said, sometimes teams lose when their just not supposed to... but what happened in the game, missed shots? lack of rythm? this loss really doesn't make sense to me...
