You know it wasn't really a bad game at all. I was pretty impressed with the pitcher from Bradley. He kept WV batters off stride quite a bit. As far as the hits go, I believe each team had 4 hits. McIntire had 3 for Bradley ? who had the other. Stafford had 2, Powell 1-1rbi, McQuire 1-1rbi Sorah sac fly 1rbi for WV. I maybe wrong on these so someone correct me if I am.

8 really 9 teams (Bradley don't have all of their games listed) have 50% or above records. That is a few more than a couple. Thanks for the evidence to prove it. And again Milan's schedule is not any tougher if you just go by the opposing team's win/loss percentage's. You don't have to worry about us East Tennessee teams. We are no threat to you powerhouses from the west. Ha! Ha! And one more thing, we didn't get beat by a team with a loosing record!

I tell you what there 04Tigerkiller, Milan don't have a very impressive schedule at all. Maybe one of these days in the near future we can find out head to head.

Varsity plays @ 5:00. Not sure if there is a JV game afterwards? As far as pitchers go, all of them should be ready to throw except Stevens and Sorah. I don't expect anyone to go past a couple of innings.

they used 4 different pitchers. Tanner Moore started I believe, went 2. Ryan pitched to only 3 batters. I heard his shoulder was bothering him. The other two I'm not sure. they were throwing pretty decent though.

Great pitching by Pat Dye. No hitter and only two runners reached base by way of the walk. Didn't hit the ball as well "as a team" as you should have. Keep working on adjusting to the slow stuff.

Great game Mustangs! It would have been easy to give up after the top of the first, but you didn't. Way to hang in there and give your pitchers something to work with. Still some room for improvement, but overall, great game. Be ready for Polk tomorrow. 21-2 record ain't bad. McCallie is a very good and classy team. Thank you guys for coming up and playing on such short notice.

Walker Valley: barely getting by, 20-2 overall / 6-0 District

The way it looks to me is McMinn Co. has players playing out of position. There are very few individuals that could be comfortable playing just anywhere the coach decides to put them. I think it all goes back to a poor feeder program in the McMinn Co. area. There are no "official" middle school baseball programs and a huge number of players fall behind during this crucial time and either never play again or are not as experienced as surrounding area players. In other words the Coach is getting just what he wants, a few stand out players and that’s it. Nobody to take anything away from the selected few.
