Who pitched for Webb? Not that it would matter since they only scored 1 run. Sounds like Karns is for real or Webb isn't.

What makes them the best? It is really hard to keep good baseball coaches so if you have one hang on to him.

What about the lips? best i remember they were bad and made the infielders gun shy. Seems like a program like Farragut could do better!

Thanks for the schedule BUT can anyone tell me why a tournament like this is using lakeshore. Have the fields been redone or are they the same we played on when our sons were 13 and 14? Am i the only one that has a concern with lakeshore?

What a shame that some of the best high school teams in the state will be playing at lakeshore. I hope noone gets hurt. With so many nice high school fields in that area it would seem that a better choice could be made. What is the deal?

I heard some of the games were going to played at Lakeshore Park. Anyone know for sure? I sure hope not! Surely Farragut can do better than using a rec league field for such a top notch tourney.

If the TSSAA splits all private schools into a division and they decide to start their own organization you will see private schools openly recruiting public school athletes. Even the schools that follow the TSSAA rules now will no longer have those rules. We all know public schools like Riverdale,Hillsboro,Brentwood, Maryville,Fulton, Knoxville Central, Anderson County, and many others recruit players but it will be worse than it is now when all private schools start doing the same! I thought it was hilarious when Coach Satterfield from Greenback was whining about the private schools having such good players that his team could not compete with them one week and then the next week was whining about how Cloudland had 300 pounders and his team had 150 pound linebackers and would have a hard time competing with them. I bet the Sunbright coach wishes the TSSAA would put Greenback in another division since they have a hard time competing with Greenback. NEVER A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD!

BriC...I saw the Herbold kid last year at the Spring Fling. If there is a better junior receiver/blocker I want to see him. He needs to get bigger for DI but he gets it done behind the plate
