Maybe something else to think about for Region 6: Community High School in Unionville is starting to build their program. I think they're playing Jr. High this year. They're about 10 minutes from Chapel Hill (Forrest) and Eagleville, and in Cascade's county. They would pretty much have to be 6-1A.

I think in the early 90's when Coach Helton was at Chapel Hill, he coached both the boys' and girls' teams for one year. Just an observation.

gomab I totally agree with your points. I actually enjoy seeing what you have to say when your polls come out. Its just funny how some people get so torn up over rankings (players or teams). Getting ranked is a great accomplishment, but in the end everything gets settled on the court. That's the best part.

I looked for the last Class A poll I could find to see how everybody's doing. Half have gone home and half are still alive. I guess for everybody who gets bent out of shape over who is and isn't ranked should just relax. Just beacause your team is ranked doesn't mean your going to the state; and just because your team isn't ranked doesn't mean they're not. I think that's why they call it March Madness. A 1.) Marshall Co schools were cancelled today. Is the game still on for tonight?

Defense, rebounding, and running the offense; but they've got time to straighten things out before tourney time. Remeber, its not about who's ranked higher in January its about who wins in March.
