All three of the 5A teams could win the championship. This includes Greeneville H.S. Science Hill has a new coach and DB has a very good QB. Greeneville always has some good athletes. But, they play the Morristown teams, Jeff Co. and Knoxvill teams. None of the teams in Upper East Tenn. have much success playing the Division 2, 5A teams in recent years. etvol

Holston Middle School played at Cherokee and won tonight. Does anyone know who won the other game? South Greene played Bluff City. The 2 winners play next week in the Championship game. Holston beat Dugger MS and lost a close game to Colonial Heights MS. Holston coaches thought Cherokee was the best team they have played this year. Holston also beat Robinson MS in Kingsport this year. etvol

Some results of games at Catons Chapel School tonight. Catons Chapel won by 2 at the buzzer. Holston MS beat Rockwood 47-39 Huntsville was winning at halftime and looked to be the winner.

Still need a player. Grandson is third grader going on 9yo. Very quick, good shooter and handles very good. My son played D-1 college basketball. Grandson is better athlete.

My son is the Coach at Holston MS. Thanks for the complimentary remark. If Sullivan Central had a better head coach than the one they have now, they could make it to the state tourney.
