  5. Man, this has been a hectic week!! You guys will have to forgive me, I have three kids playing AYSO soccer and I am coaching all three teams (U6, U8, and U10). I almost forgot to vote on my own poll. YIKES!!!! Lincoln County (gotta go with my Falcons) Tullahoma (too much air power) Oakland (Franklin County still doesn't seem to be on track) Cookeville (Cavs seem to be getting better each week) White County (could go either way, but I'll take White County) Kingsport - Dobyns Bennett (always seem to win in the regular season) Melrose (gotta go wit Ohwange Mound) Alcoa (Rankin gets his second "W")

  9. Times up, the polls are now closed!!!!
  10. Time is running out guys, better get your votes in!!!! The polls close at noon!!!!
  11. I think the game may suprise some people, especially if Warren County's defense can contain Jeremy Ramsey. If he gets through the line and into the secondary too many times though, it might not because he not only has really good speed, but he can stop and turn on a dime and take back off full speed again. They had better not focus on the running game and forget about the pass either. LC hasn't really opened it up yet with the QB and receivers they have. It should be a good game, I can't wait to see it, and the weather should be perfect!!! Good luck to both teams!!!
  12. I have to agree with you, not many high school stadiums have as much seating capacity on the visitor's side as they do the home side. Don't forget about the new sound system, the players love the pregame music!!!
  13. Dude, before you get on here posting like you know everything, you need to do some research instead of getting on here proving that you know NOTHING!!!! Lincoln County won the state in 1990 by defeating Germantown and won the state again in 1993 (which was the first year of 5-A) by defeating Riverdale. If you managed to pass remedial math, you will find that it does not add up to 15 years. This thread is supposed to be about Coffee County at Cookeville.
  14. You didn't pick a winner for Tullahoma vs. Hillsboro Ok guys and gals, time is running out!!!!
  15. Everyone is free to change their picks, but if you do, Please let me know. I am checking daily and adding picks to my spreadsheet per username. The deadline for any changes is noon on Friday of gameday. Since I am actually the official statman for LC, I am busy keeping up with their's, but am going to do my best to keep up with your picks too. 2Priceless has my back, so I know you are all in good shape!!!
  16. The 6 points that Blackman scored was actually against Lincoln County's 3rd team offense on a fumbled pitch out that was picked up by the Blackamn defense and returned for a TD. Blackman's offense never threatened on Lincoln County's first team defense. If Warren County's offensive line is weak, it could be over with quick. Lincoln County has one if it's strongest defensive fronts it has had in years, not to mention two linebackers that swarm to the ball and will hit you hard.
  17. Riverdale Lavergne Oakland Smyrna Ravenwood Brentwood Academy Jo Byrns
  18. Oh, mine are: Lincoln County Franklin County Cookeville Tullahoma Houston MBA Maryville
  19. EXACTLY..... Wouldn't it be worth it to go out on the limb for the extra point???
  20. Here is my first attempt at it, so please be patient with me. I will try to not include any of the games that are on Region 4's so that there is more variety. I will also try to include a game from the East and a game from the West every week as well: Lincoln County @ Warren County Cumberland County @ Franklin County (hot pick is Cumberland County) Coffee Conty @ Cookeville Tullahoma @ Hillsboro MBA @ MUS Collierville @ Houston Clinton @ Maryville
  21. Ramsey did not graduate last year. He is a senior this year and has 443 yards rushing in only two games, and against two defenses with good speed. If the Pioneers don't have speed in the secondary and Jeremy gets through the line, he could break several long ones.
  22. The Falcons ame out with intensity last night and did not let up. It was not all Jeremy Ramsey though, and that is the good thing. Chris Shelton had some good passes, and even a 70+ yard touchdown run. The defense was solid all acroos the front. The offensive line looked great, considering everyone has been calling them our weakness. As far as Blackman goes, can't figure those guys out. They have some talent, it just doesn't seem to have chemistry. I do see one glaring problem though, and since we were sitting amongst the Blaze faithful last night, I could obviously tell from their remarks that they see it too, it Mimms. He raqn hard the first quarter, but after a few hits, he started to dance around more than run the ball. He didn't play the second half for (what I think was) disobeying the coach and getting into an argument with another player. I wouldn't single him out if not for hearing SO many Blackman people openly voice their displearue with him. Honestly, I think the offense looked better without him. Mauricio Wallace (#1) is a good player too. He had to be exhausted after the game, he was all over the field all night long. Good luck Blaze, maybe things will get turned around!
