I haven't seen the Vikings, but I was impressed with the Rebels. This is there best team in at least 3 years. This is a really big game for the 5A Schools in Conference and it has major Palyoff implications riding on the outcome.

The concession stands should do very well in Kingsport on Friday night...especially if the Boone Fans show up like the last time they came to town. I really don't see Holt playing more than a 1/3 of the time at QB...it will be Foreman and Swafford and Barger and Casey running and running and running the Wildcat along with Foreman playing under Center. Clark will get Holt in as much as he can but I gotta think it is Foreman at QB...because this is Clark's shot and has to go for it now. Both teams are 4-0 on the season and this should be a good game. The Indians will be without Cris Cook it looks like, man we hope he is ok...but DB has to play on and they will be just fine. He looked like he was doing ok...you know, not life threatening in any way. Those disks in your neck can be very painful. I had a ruptured disk 5 years ago, had surgury the next day and was Trail Running in 2 weeks and my neck is better than ever. I hope Chris has a great doctor and has no implications during his life from this....maybe we can get him out for Baseball in the spring. Cook is a great Indian.

#74 Nick (Little Big Daddy) Sensabaugh was a BEAST for DB. He was awesome on both sides of the ball. I am really impressed with his work at O-Line since really just moving there. He led a Cook break away down the field and pushed #5 about 5 yards. Great Geat Nick

I am hoping Cook was taking for precautionary reasons...that's a guess too. I have changed my mind, Devon Swafford is better than Adonis Johnson....simply amazing. We are lucky to get to watch him play. And Mailk Foreman is so fast, when he touches the ball a blig play happens. I looked something up today, Seiver County beat DB on Dolly Parton Parkway in the first meeting of the 2 teams, 1993...the 1st year of the Big East Conference. It was a slobber nocker, 12-7, the Bears had a "bowling ball" FB named Chris McCarter, 18 carries 96 yds. I was gald to be reminded that the 4 teams that were charter members that remained in the Conference to the end: DB, Science Hill, Jeff. Co.and Sevier Co. finished 1-2-3-4 in that order in the 1st season of 5A Big East Football. The other 4 initial members were: Mo-East, South Doyle, William Blount and Heritage. (Heritage was perfect as always 0-10) The 5A Big East Conference and was a great Confernece

Now...I'm sure you know that if the Indians and the Blazers both take care of business this Friday.....next Friday is Boone at DB - both teams 4-0, the winner to be at least tied for the Conference lead. In 3 games the Indians are averaging 45 pt a game...and that is with the offense being as plain vanilla as Clark can call it. Not one "special" play on offense has been run. No end a rounds, no reverse's, no hook and lateral. I don't even recall if DB has ran an option play with the pitch. You may see a special play or 2 Friday night, but to day, none have been needed. Why didn't Fields go to the Basketball School before he got going in Football? That was very selfish of him if he knew he was leaving. He could have let someone else get the reps in practice and 3 games. Just my opinion

All you guys remembering how fast and good Greenville is...is doing just that...remembering. The only thing fast about this years Green Devils is how fast their opponents are scoring on their defense. If they 3 peat all I have to say is.... How sorry is 4A Football? 3A Sullivan North would handle Greenville with ease. The Rebles should win this game.
