It is aweful early to start this stuff, but if I was putting money on it, I would have to say that anybody from Franklin is going to be tough especially Bond Davis. Cody Cleveland will have a great year of course Max Gessler out of Tullahoma should have a successful year also

in my opinion 23 teams is a little too many in comparison with other regions and with teams like franklin and brentwood it may not be the stongest region but it certainly isn't weak. and individually there is a region five wrestler ranked in all but three weight classes and more than one wrestler in multiple classes.

145 is no doubt the toughest. at least in region 5. when some one ranked 5th in state does not qualify becuase the quality of competition, it has to be a tough class.

The 171 from Forrest is Chris Sullivan. He and Moyer from Centinial are 1-1. It she be a good match. The best match of the tourny will be the 140 championship match between Bond Davis fom Franklin and Musser from B'wood. They both made me look stupid.

How do you think the Forrest Rockets will turn out this season? What about their outstanding team they have this season? Their starting 5 is as good as any 5 in the state.

Moore county is ateam of the past. They will be lucky to win 4 games this season. Forrest 1st n districk beat them not playing well at all and without there starting center Patrick Schnapp due to his supension for showing bad sportsmanship against Richland. We've wrestled a few teams so far and I can't wait to see some of them face off. It will be exciting to watch Smyrna battle it out with Franklin. I think those are going to be the top two teams in the region this year. It should be a close match-up. It will be good if C. Sholly bumps up to wrestle Bond D., because those are 2 extremely talented wrestlers and would make to be a great match.

From what I hear Riverdale will surprise some people this year. I heard they had a good turn out and are looking to turn some heads. Smyrna should be strong with some awesome wrestlers returning, like C. Sholley. Franklin is looking real strong especially in the lower midweights. Forrest is looking tough with most classes filled for a change. Best to luck to all the teams.

I've heard a lot of good stuff about a lot our teams and maybe region 5 will rebound back to beinng an extremely strong region this year.
