Great job this year Boyd. Both Akins did a great job. Also congrats to Robby, and Matt on MVP. Boyd earned it. I was a well played game and I enjoyd it alot. WE could not have asked for a better season. This was a great last season for me to watch. I can't wait to come back and watch a few games next year. Now all we need to do is go and get a sign like SP has made

Just to let you know, Boyd does not recruit. Never have and never will. Our school will not allow anyone on scholarship to play a sport. And it is your choice to go there. End of that discussion.

I have to say Boyd will win this game. It will not be a easy game like CAK but I feel the bucs are ready and will not let another golden ball slip away. We have a great team this year, that is dedicated, and I feel they have put more into this season then any previous year. I can not wait for the game on friday. Warrior you are just saying that is what the score will be because you are still mad that you lost. Just get overr it. The State game is not going to be 21-0. I feel that Boyd will be able to win this one. But it is going to be a well played game. I will not however make a points prediction. Besides Boyd does not have to run the ball, we can pass, and get TD's other ways.

Every game has its bad calls. But I do not think that DCA will be able to beat BOyd. It does not matter who the refs are or anything. Because Boyd had lots of calls against us from one ref inperticular. So Boyd will be able to succeed no matter whos side the refs are on. Boyd does not little things like that effect the outcome of a game. Go Bucs

I would have to say the Bucs have a better shot at winning this year then DCA does. Mainly because the bucs are playing at their best. I feel they are even stronger then last year. That just goes to show that we did not relie on Nelson and Healy. But it should be a very good game to watch. Congrats, to both teams for making it this far.

The fans and everyone werte great. They were all nice to us and were very friendly. I just thought that some things posted were not right. Mostly those about the 12th man. I did not feel that those things should have been posted.

Lets get back on the topic of football, and not on the topic of wiping butts. Sprayed does not play as big a part now as he use to. And as time goes on, he will not an assat to Boyd. Most people there right now do not even know what he does. That is why I made that comment. He is not on campus, and does not have much of an active part at boyd.

I agree. Besides the 12th man thing is not new. Texas A&M started the twelth man thing way before anybody thought of it. It all started when a man from the crowd came down to play when they needed one person. I mean I believe in God, and protecting everyone. But there is no way that God puts football over people with cancer, and the safty of both teams. So drop the 12th man stuff, and just let the game be. I do not think God would want to "christian" schools acting like this. Because CAK is making themselves look better then Boyd and more christian because God is on their side, not Boyds. God will be over everyone protecting them. Another thing give your own players more credit. They deserive it. They are the ones out on the field playing their hearts out.

I am sorry for using the word retarded, I did not think before I put it there. But one of my teachers kids is slow, and he has to be the happiest kid ever. And I do not play football, but I do attend every game, and have for the 3 years. I know what I am talking about in most cases. I know not to post if I have no clue what people are talking about. But I have friends that live in knoxville and have seen some of those schools play, so I know if they are overrated, or just good at times. I never want to hear warrior open his mouth again about bucsfan not knowing what he is talking about. He is right about south pittsburg not being over rated. Both times we played them they game was well played and earned by the boyd players. There was nothing easy about those games. You are just getting cocky about CAK being so great. They are a newer school, that plays lower caliber teams. Cloudland was good and so was midway, but you should not have won any of those games. You are now just trying to make your self look good about winning against those teams.. and CAK even lost to one of those teams in the regular season. So just to show you, BOYD won both times against SP with avery similer score. So until you can make a comment with any reasoning behind it, or when you know what you are talking about. Don't post retarded things. Besides, if south pittsburg was so over rated, why did papers in memphis, and nashville, both put south pitt as the 3rd or 4th spot on a state wide ranking of class 1-A schools in football. One more thing, South Pitt would beat Cloudland any time at any field

All I have to say is that Boyd will not have trouble with CAK. Boyd is a very sound team, that has played well all year. We have some great players, including those you don't see in the paper, aka Swinea and Thurm. These thugs are powerhouses with speed and strength. Boyd fans know what I am talking about. Swinea even has some touchdowns to his name, because he is tall. And you are talking about other schools coming to your game. Last week there were over 7000 people at the boyd game. And alot of those were from other schools. Including Marion, Ooltewah, McCallie, East Ridge, so Boyd now has a large fan group supporting them on to state. GO BUCS

I said that because they are one of the newer teams in this division. I did not mean to hurt feelings, I just put that there to point out that the players have not had the experiance of playing in the playoffs. I did not mean for it to sound as if they are not good. They have to be good to make it this far, they just are not as accustomed to playing this far into the playoffs.

no offence was taken, and I know that it is not all luck. And you are right that the other teams did not get the job done. It does take skill and ability, I just think that there was some luck involved. I do not think a school that did not have the caliber players could do as well as they have on their own. Who knows it might all be by the grace of God that they have gotten this far. But again best of luck to CAK friday

I agree with a lot so SMITHKE's posts. He has made a lot of good additions to this board, and has stayed on topic, unlike some post made by a certin south pitt. fan. I feel he has done this post more good by not talking as much on it. I know that this will be a good game. However as I said earlier, CAK has heart, and skill, but they also have a lot of luck. Not many schools with either the record that they have, or that were picked to go out in the first round, are still in it. There were exceptions this season, because of teams records looking bad from having ineligible players. I want to congratulate CAK for making it this far. And good luck to both teams. I hope everyone has a safe trip to the game, and no on is seriously injured. GO BUCS
