After observing the regular season, district and regional tournaments.. it appears that no one has perfection established within their cheering sections.. obnoxious, rude and crude can be seen in all of them at times... careful.. people who live in glass houses should not throw stones....

Question?? Have the Greenfield Girls ever been to the state tournament before? Was it 1979 or 1978 when they played in the sub-state?? Great game last night lady jackets!!! Hats off to Lake County.. good luck in your next one...

This could be one of the best games in NW this year. Hayes is a great QB, but Lake County is physical, strong, fast and as hard hitting as anybody I have seen. The receivers better get ready to get rocked.. the secondary hits hard.. as do the linebackers.. it will be a war... Lake County 35 McKenzie 21.....

The kids from Lake County, quick, hit the holes hard, follow their blocks well and Springer is amazing....

McKenzie rolls with balance...just when you think you've got them stopped, they reload the cannon and fire the big shot... McKenzie by 30...

It is a big week in the region. Watch out for the upsets.. Gleason wins at home over Halls... South Fulton will get another spanking this week from Lake County. Greenfield and Bruceton should be the closest ballgame of the week... West Carroll might just surprise JCS... another good game that could be a preview of the first round..

The new player that dressed out at UC was not a "manager" ... but hopefully an athlete that will help G'field out in the post. Second, I didn't see a G'field team that gave up, rather one that got frustrated because no one in the gym knew what would or would not be called as a foul.. tight or loose, but call it one way or the other. The T on Coach T was ridiculous....... who cares about the rankings and stuff right now... Lets see what's happening in Feb.... That was a class bunch of kids.. especially Shane when he got number five for nothing...

The arrogance abounds in the thought processing, it does make one want to laugh. Maybe we should just let the "supposed to win" win every ballgame and then we wouldn't have to be out the money to travel, buy uniforms etc. It would almost be like virtual reality.... But then, that is why we play the games, because on any given Friday night in high school football.... in all the regions in all the classes.... any team can win.... maybe the arrogance that is found in some of the commentators on this board will spill over.... and suddenly the games get tighter.... Here's to the underdogs... let the games begin.....

Hopefully all the teams in region 7 will be thinking sweep.... Maybe those of us in region 8 should just stay home and surrender.... anybody see the VT and Miami score from Saturday????? It's not over til its over..... and the games are yet to be played!!!!!!

Watch the kids from Greenfield come out a totally different team this Friday against West Carroll.. Finally, they understand what it means to be a winning team in a close game...
